What an amazing film. Has anyone else seen it? Please do not post any "spoilers" if you have. Really a remarkable piece of work and I think apropos of our general interests.

La piel que habito. I love Almodovar but guess his style is a bit 'marmite' love it or hate it. Ddint think it was anywhere near one of his best films but still enjoyed it.

He has always had a thing with trannys, they feature in most of his films in one way or another from Bibi Anderson to Antonia San Juan.

I just found the whole premise absurd and hateful. The film was deeply misanthropic.

I just found the whole premise absurd and hateful. The film was deeply misanthropic.

And even more deeply misogynistic, a surprising and disappointing move for Almodovar who has over the years shown himself generally to be extremely empathetic towards his female characters and the actresses who play them.

I saw this a few months ago and it was a good movie, I hated the way it went from present, to the past and back.

I found it to be a mind fuck, the charactor Robert Ledgard is really a sick fuck, and I'm referring to is his "patient" and his daughter and how they are connected to the "patient"
