EEOC "Transgendered individuals are protected under Title VII

The EEOC has ruled in a case brought by Transgender Law Center that transgender people are protected from workplace discrimination under Title VII, the federal sex discrimination law.The EEOC is the federal agency that enforces federal employment discrimination laws, and today's decision marks the first time in history they have held that transgender people are protected by the law.
