Hi Guys,

im a long time lurker, found this site very useful for trustworthy reviews etc.. finally made the jump to being an active member!

anyway, im going to be moving to the USA (Houston) from the UK - where i live there are hardly any shemales, if any shemales at all.. usually i look to visit london or a bigger city for that sort of thing.

Anyway, just wondered if anyone can advise me on what the scene is like out there? im assuming i will find it easier than where i am just now as its a much larger city.. is there a popular dating website shemales in the states use? as much as i enjoy escort services i would ideally look to meet some shemales outside of that environment for freindship and to see what happens.

Anyway, i just wanted to post up and see if anyone had any good advice for me, i really just want to meet some new and interesting people - and as i will be in a completely alien country i wondered what people with similar interests did over in the good old US of A.

thanks again.

Advise when coming to America:

Don't drink the water

Lose the accent

Steering wheel will be difficult to locate

The fish in Fish and chips is lake trout or catfish

The language will be different

The sky is bigger

Stay away from steers and queers

It will be much hotter

Stay away from Alabama

Barbeque food is good in Texas.

Alaska is bigger

As far as girls,, there are probably some girls living among the steers and queers.

Sorry, I incorrectly thought you were English. Scottish is cool but there might be some IRA supporters in the NE USA that might not like an English accent.

I still stand with staying away from the steers.

Hahahaha - fuck those idiots. I'm English and everytime I went to Boston and the NE, just because I didn't speak like the Queen, these guys who'd last visited Ireland a generation or two ago, all started buying me beers.

The BRITISH accent has gotten me wet and deep in the USA.

Wouldn't you shoot yourself with that if you were holding it like a knuckleduster?

I was sort of joking but I knew some Irish in Hells Kitchen that could be nasty. They are probably dead now.

No you are right, I've seen that shit and heard the rubbish they say but they didn't guess that English didn't all talk with a plum in their mouth (oo-er).

I remember going to a St.Patrick's Day parade in 1993 in NYC and seeing people opening collect for the IRA ... didn't see if after 2001 though.

Yea, after 9-11 things changed, that and finding IRA guys in Colombia with the rebels didn't help either.

There was a NORAID store front not far from where I lived in the Bronx. The guys in there were kinda wimpy, a couple of my friends wanted to fight them but they never came out of the store.

But people here can be strange when it comes to accents, some people in NYC didn't like my accent being southern. It all depends who one meets in America. Good or bad.

I had good and bad experiences in the US with my English accent. A lot of people told me they loved my accent and in Santa Monica they wouldn't leave me alone. But in Texarcana, Arkansas they looked at me like I came from another planet! lol

LMAO...They don't like your kind in Boston Steven...and I'll tell ya....been a lot of places, and just about as many scrapes, but those Boston Bowery boys don't fuck around!

They don't use baseball bats the way the Red Sox do ! And I've made more Irish drinking buddies in London than Englishmen. I guess they think my accent is Boston.

I have a question, why don't the posts from English people on this forum have accents. I read the posts and it looks like American words.

They loved me in Boston - every bar I went they bought me pints. There aren't many Brits in London. You were lucky to find an Irish or two.
