So it appears that some asshat back in VA enjoys digging up dirt and has thrown my name into the mix as a means of slander through association via Facebook. Because of someone being friends with me on Facebook, Greg Letiecq (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/07/21/AR2007072101355_2.html) has tried to discredit a political candidate for having the same person as a friend.

The guy writing it is a moron. It looks like some of my fellow Republicans also feel the same as me as I am reading their comments. I feel there is way more important things to worry about than who someone is friends with on Facebook, a store that sells (OMG) porn or someones sexual lifestyle, preference or whatever you want to call it. Here's the deal folks. This country needs to worry about the Economy, Job creation, taking care of our own and things that matter to changing the way this country is ran. Both parties suck and not one President or Presidential candidate gives a shit about doing what is right. All they care about is getting re-elected and the money they put in their wallets.

Even so, your friend owns a sex toy boutiqe, and this Patricia Richie-Folks was friends with her..... Is it a story?? not really imho. Just another talking point about the political validity of Ms Richie-Folks.
The issue being that as trans folks we are easy and at times unfair political targets. What is being said about this Patricia Richie-Folks is pure kindess compared to what the GOP has said about me the last 4 1/2 months since my firing. Do I take it personal hell ya I do, but at the end of the day, I still hold my beliefs and am a conservative at heart.
In a perfect world Politics should be about policy not personal lifestyle chocies, but we live in a far from perfect world...

Hey....wait just a minute....that's not matching up with Silcc's narrow minded narrative. Ya see, the way he sees it...it's black and white ! Him good...you bad. lmao Britt didn't seem to make it political.
Some judgemental douchbag in Virginia who an axe to grind with somebody has no relevance to me...He has to justify what he says....not me, but you'd think somehow he speaks for others...that's the game that's played. The reality is there's a huge amount of homophobia in the black community, but I don't expect him to "spin" anything in defense of that, but he won't extend the same courtsey to others. Each person is responsible alone for what they do, and what they say.
As far as the whole Facebook thing...I find it tedious, but I adore Britt.
