Now anyone who knows me knows i'm a huge gamer. Just ask...well anyone who knows me well or many of the people on cam4. I was wondering how many fellow gamers are on this site? Especially the female members since they are hard to come by. Also what games are you looking forward to?

Recently i've had a big interest in operation raccoon city. Other games that are catching my interest is gravity rush, doom 4, resident evil 6,tales of graces, xenoblade chronicles, and the last of us.

currently playing a million games, but most recently uncharted golden abyss, half minute hero, and the jak and daxter collection. I do need some friends to help me finish some of my online co-op games as well and when ORC comes out.

As you Tiff, i like co-op games but sadly theres just not that many quality co-op games out there imo :(. In general i prefer shooters (Modern Warfare, Call of Duty, Red Dead Redemption etc) and mmo´s (Lord of the Rings, Star Wars:the old republic etc). Looking forward to Diablo 3 - even if we have a beta tester here that is unsure about it ;) and also keeping an eye on the Secret World as i hope Funcom have learned from their mistakes with Age of Conan.

I play MW3 mostly but when I'm not in the mood for multiplayer or non of my friends are online, I'll cause a bit of mayhem playing Red Dead Redmption or The Ballad of Gay Tony. I've still got half of Mass Effect 2 to play through (as well as all it's DLC and the R.D.R. Undead Nightmare DLC). I also play Forza Motorsport... I used to easily get in the top few hundred on the leaderboards but I just don't feel like playing it that much anymore.

Goodness I played the hell out ME2 I think ran through it about 4 times. I love the demo's multiplayer mode it is hard as fuck. Even on the bronze setting the AI is no joke.

I had the same problem with Mass Effect 1. I get half way through the game and get distraced by another game or busy with work and then I don't play it for a while. I find it really difficult to just pick it back up because of how story driven the games are.

I kind of like it, because no Tekken character throws projectiles. They nurffed fireballs for that reason. I need to get an arcade stick, sometimes I can't connect my combos because I didn't do a quarter circle right, or some bullshit.

1. many actions with the wiimote seem forced and stupid.
2. the puzzles are not has hard as other zelda games which makes the fact that they are even there more pointless.
3. its too damn linear...there is no exploration. as it is a prequel to all the other zelda titles, it would have been nice to have sidequests that actually relate it to the zelda universe.
4. the on screen text is subpar. i'm a bit tired of contrived "speech" in zelda. it isn't cute...i'm not 10...i'm 33. most non-japanese people playing zelda are not 10. Time to stop writing in game "speech" for 10 year olds.
5. IT TAKES TOO FUCKING LONG TO GET INTERESTING. The first several hours of playing is like watching paint dry.

honorable mention: nintendo said it would look better than TP...i think not. The animation sucks compared to TP. I think because it looks more anime than TP did, nintendo and japanese fanboys/girls love it but when a game that took years to make looks WORSE than its predecessor...that's a problem. between WW, MM, TP and now SS, I have no idea why nintendo can't pick an animation style and stick with it.

Wait, the game is too openworled man. These are some of the best puzzles in a Zelda game ever. I got to agree with you on the motion controls. They should of gave another option. Some voice acting would be nice too, I suppose

there are worse things like

1. the fucking flying! why can't i just teleport to where i need to go, plus the times you do fly are no fun, starts to hurt my arm. And the part where you have to smash through those targets..ugh An upside down blind man shooting at a butterfly from 300ft away with a Nerf gun would be more accurate than the birds controls.

2. those damn trials, they are no fun and i hate collecting things while trying to avoid puddles and lantern guys just to be looking for one more and then get caught and restart. it is boring and tedious. I know they put them in the game to make the game longer because without them the game would be over quickly but I would rather you extend a dungeon or add more of them than throw quests like that at me.

3. The hang ups. when you really want to go to the next temple and for one reason or another you can't until you do a pointless quest that could have been easily taken out of the game, they are no fun either. like swimming to collect colored notes, or going to pick up stuff with your robot, it's just boring, boring, and did I mention boring? Again just to extend the game.

4.Backtracking in this game is annoying, sure you backtrack in other zelda games but here you have to go through a dungeon TWICE and it's mediatory. Also as I stated before flying to town and back to town constantly is a pain. say you forgot something in town, you have to find a statue, teleport up, then fly to the town, go to the shop, buy the item, fly back to the portal, drop down and then continue. This wastes about 10-15 minutes and you do it a lot for quests and other stupid shit, there are more examples but i'll leave them be.

5. The controls. They are not too bad in this game but more than once did i want to snap my wiimote in half because the wiimotion plus wasn't working right. Its hard to explain you just have to try it out. Not the worst thing in the game but it has to be mentioned.

Mass Effect 3 is in fact an awesome game, an aside from the ending, which is just a set-up to get you to buy dlc, there are very few things to complain about in the game. If Mass Effect 3 is the first Mass Effect game you've played the ending won't bother you.
That being said, as a huge nerd who played each of the first two games 3 times, and was actually somewhat emotionally invested in the outcome of the series, I felt cheated and like I had been slapped in the face by the "endings" (there's really only one ending, which, if you played the series, completely goes against everything set up during the series).
This is about as close to visualizing my frustration without just giving the ending away, and yes, I am an incredibly huge nerd:

I'm an old school gamer. I was a video game nerd back in the days of Atari, NES, Super Nintendo, Mastersystem, and Genesis. When I was young, I used to rock video games at least six hours a day, but these days it's unusual that I spend more than three or four hours a week playing. I just kinda grew out of it.

Before I began moving around a lot, I was a game and console collector. Unfortunately because I've been moving into smaller and smaller places, I've had to sell off a LOT. Now I'm down to my Xbox, Gamecube, PS2, Genesis 3, psOne, NES, SNES, N64, and a couple of hand-helds.

I really didn't pick up Soul Blade until I had already played the hell out of Soul Calibur on DreamCast so I wasn't nearly anywhere as good with it, but a very respectable game nonetheless. I've always been a fan of the Soul Calibur series because unlike many other fighting games, Soul Calibur doesn't simply focus on character, move, and engine design. Namco focused on everything from lighting mechanics to level environment detail. It just gives the series a much more polished feel in my opinion.

Yes i've played guilty gear, great game but honestly, the music is probably the worst of all games. I love metal and stuff like that but that was just awfull.

I loved the saturn and dreamcast days with xmen Vs street fighter, marvel vs SF, marvel super heroes, capcom vs snk 1&2, etc. And man when i look at this now:
