Like it says in the title. Traveling there soon...bars/clubs to go to downtown, shows to see, places to meet gurls? Tried a forum search but didn't come up with much.

Thanks.

I was there in June last year and will be back in June this year ! Its a great city with lots of great bars and places to eat etc.....as far as girls go try citibar, thats about all there is as far I could tell. Its an ok bars with plenty of girls, 99% working but my accent went down well so that cut the odds. Also found a couple of hot girls on AdultFriendFinder and craigslist. Have fun !

Things to do? If you can talk sexy and dirty in French (I can!! :D ) the ladies greatly prefer it to English.

cleo on saint laurent alot of girls show up there.
umm.. there isnt really more places i can think of .

mntreals transsexual scene sucks. but most of the trannys in montreal are ghetto and idiots so it desirves to suck that bad.

Yow. That sounds pretty scary. I tend to stay out of places where I might get into fights. I'm not quite a pacifist but I'm not much of a fighter either.

Don't understand people who go out and look for trouble to get into. I just want everyone to a peaceful good time. (Yeah, I'm a hippie.)

meh i dont know what to tell you lol.
dont go to citi then.
its a scary place.
i went there the first time i ended up on the floor in the washroom had drinks thrown on me and then i went outside and i had some mexican bitch chase me outside and i had to take my platiform off and start fighting with her with my shoes.

i suggest just go to a regular bar or go to cleos or call one of the girls up
i recommend layla legendz or shyla wild they are both personal friends of mine and offer amazing service.

they both live together also so you can get the duo feature.

both have massive cocks shyla is 10.5 and layla is 9.

Not really an option as I won't have a car available.

Well, thanks for all the suggestions in this thread. I'll give Citibar a try, and just bail if I don't feel safe there.

Bro, we need more description than 'that was amazing'.

I tried a handful of girls from shemale canada, and their services SUCKED big time. No GFE but all mechanical service.

Also, what's up with the airfares? 800 $ from Mid Atlantic to Montreal (1.5 hr flight). It is cheaper to fly to Europe for that price.

Same, I've been into about 4 fights all my life. All before I was 17.

Okay, so I'm not the only one noticing that.

Boston -> Montreal is about 320 miles or 515km, which is the same as traveling from Boston to D.C., probably a little less. Airfares from Boston to D.C. can be had for $150-ish R/T, even less than a week in advance. But airfares to Montreal are four times that--and many of the routings aren't even direct, they go via JFK or Detroit. Via *Detroit*? Sense, this airline makes none.

There's gotta be some kinda weird taxation or protectionism thing going on with the Canadian government, that's all I can figure. Or there's a severe, artificially-induced cap on the number of flights per day out of YUL to points in the U.S. Mid-Atlantic. Otherwise, it's a real head-scratcher.

I visited Montreal and Quebec for winter carnival many moons ago - two things made a glaring impression:
there were an unusually large amount of incredibly hot women in both cities:)
these people really really really like to fist fight:(
I saw more bar fights in one week than I had seen in my previous 10 years of bar hopping all over the world. strangely, as an obvious outsider it seemed I was excluded from the er.... FUN.they only seemed interested in fighting other Quebecois. maybe they considered it below their dignity to fight anyone who did not speak french. everyone was very friendly to me and I had a great trip

Same price structure to fly to Toronto. So, yes, it got to do with the greedy Canadian Government.

The cheapest thing is to fly to Burlington, Vermont then take the greyhound bus to Montreal.

Well, for me, the cheapest thing is "take a commuter train in to Boston, then take Greyhound to Montreal." *points to user ID* Whether that's cheaper or more expensive than driving depends on the current cost of gas, and whether and how much I have to pay for parking in Montreal.

Not quite. First, you made a maths error: 4 x 150 = 600. Quick check of itasoftware.com for airfares BOS < - > BKK two months out shows the cheapest economy-cabin prices right now are in the $1400-$1800 range, not $1200. But regardless of those minor quibbles, your point is well taken. It's a large airfare for such a short hop. You can fly to Europe, for example, for 800-ish these days.

I'd love to go to Thailand but it's a long plane ride...I'd have to stay there for at least a week, plus allow 2 days for air travel there and back at either end. I don't think I could get that much time off of work at one go.

(you folks in countries where the primary culture isn't as workaholic as it is here in the States can feel free to point and laugh, now.)

I'll get there someday. Then again, I went on a travel kick a couple of years ago after a health scare prompted me to realize that "someday" I'd be making my last trip...in the back of a hearse.

I think French Canadians like having a gruff and unfriendly reputation, but like New Yorkers, they treat visitors to their city like kings and queens. Sorry folks, but I'd go to Montreal 10 times before I'd make one shlepp to just about any European city. I love the food, hotels, and woman. (and yes they all speak English)
btw The woman in Montreal absolutely love American men, even us dorky ones... an attitude sadly lacking in Euro Zone.
