The Tranny Awards judges have been kept under wraps since the judging process started, known only to myself. To ensure no duplicity, each judge wasn't aware until now - whom the others were.
There were six judges. Each judge voted on their top 3 choices in each category (unless they were ineligible to vote in that category). All categories were judged with the exceptions of:
The Best Solo Model (fan votes)
Shemale Strokers/Kink's Kinkiest Tgirl Domme/Shemale Yum/Black Tgirls Models of the Year (members votes)
Lifetime Achievement Awards (chosen by Grooby staff/office)
I rotate the judges each year and try to choose from industry, models and fans.
This year all judges were excellent in getting their decisions in fast and as in previous years, I think they have all be very objective.
The Judges:
Jesse: She was asked to be a judge before she won the Xbiz Award but it seems all the more appropriate that this high profile model and performer should be on the panel of judges. http://www.ts-jesse.com
Caramel: Webmistress of http://www.caramelstgirls.com this is the second time she's been on the panel. Her site is well known for it's candid and frank interviews with models and producers in the transgender market.
Housekeeper: NY based photographer, producer and industry veteran in the transgender niche since 2005, he's been the webmaster of solo models sites, an affiliate and now has his own website at http://www.strokingqueens.com
Apache Warrior: Adult film reviewer and the main interviewer to the adult stars for the influential website http://www.xcritic.com, he's reviewed countless DVD's and interviewed many TS modles. He's also a voter on other main industry awards events.
Franklin: Hugely popular (!) and opinionated member of the Hungangels forum and just about every TS website. Franklin is a super fan of TS erotica and should look at a career as a porn critic.
Onmyknees: Our second fan judge. Onmyknees has clocked up nearly 4000 posts in 4 yrs on Hungangels and enjoys most TS porn.
