Mardi Gras

A few ts girls I know have told me that Mardi Gras is a ts hotspot; I have lived here all my life but rarely went to New Orleans during the season because of all the traffic and tourists, etc and so on. I am making the trip this year, so any suggestions of where to go that gives me a chance to bump into a lovely lady?
