I think everyone has poses and expressions that they repeat over and over again, and that look silly from time to time. For me it is the bending over pose in my avatar. I remember some time ago when Amy was doing the 'one eye' thing behind her bangs. Kimber did the straight on, looking up pose to death. As it is part of my actual job to browse shoots, I'm pretty sure I could recognize just about anyone from silhouettes of their shoots... which would actually be a fun little game to play.

Anyway, I think people just get comfortable with one look and go back to it time and time again without thinking. There are really only so many ways to pose the human body. I don't think it is a bad thing at all... just different things for different people. One pose / look will be 'in' one day, and out the next. Blue Steel doesn't work for everyone.

Hey there. I'd like to apologize for implying that you were a douche. You came to my defense in another completely unrelated thread a few weeks ago and you don't even know me. I'm not the cynical, abrasive asshole I come off as sometimes on this board... I live alone and when you spend all of your time living in your own head it can be easy to forget that not everyone shares the same fleeting frustrations as you.
