Iron Eagle and The Running Man were considered big budget when they came out

they are still B grade but Hollywood just spends more money on them

If u mean older B movies, nothing happened to them, u can still find them.. Lol I know what u meant, Hollywood has grown tired of original movie ideas, no matter how bad b movies were.. They are still better than the U.S. remakes of Japanese horror movies. Everything is CGI'ed to death now, so much so that it even looks worse than the old special effects.

In the 80's and early 90's B-grade were flicks fun to watch- The Last Starfighter,Class of 1999, Toxic Avenger. I was pretty sure Iron Eagle was B grade, Running Man I dont remember if it was.
