Hungary's homeless will soon have a new problem. The authorities intend to amend because they live on the streets.

A new regulation by which homeless people could be fined about 445 euros or sentenced to prison Thursday came into force in Hungary, reports BBC News said on Tuesday.

Lawmakers from the ruling conservative party proposed that provision stating that Budapest can not cope with the large number of homeless people. Critics, including humanitarian organizations argue that this law is unenforceable and that shelters are not enough seats.

Hungarian capital has about 10,000 people homeless.

According to a Government amendment to a local document, adopted by a comfortable majority in Parliament last month, people will be found sleeping on the streets will first receive a warning. Later, they will be imprisoned or fined.

Aveastă initiative generated criticism, including from Hungary's ombudsman, who argues that poverty should be treated, not prohibited.

Associations for the homeless say that between 1,000 and 3,000 people will remain on the streets.
In addition, planned a series of demonstrations against the law.:):):):)
