Your 'rate' is a direct reflection of supply and demand. You are the supply. If you charge 300 and nobody shows up then there isn't any demand for you at that rate. If they are beating down the door at that rate then it's time for you go to up! Adjust your rate until you've struck the appropriate balance - satisfied with your income and your fun-hole isn't ragged out to pieces.
