BURBANK, Calif. — Grooby Network launched its first site this week for performer Brittany St. Jordan.
Grooby Productions earlier this year unveiled Grooby Network (http://www.groobynetwork.com/) to give transgender models the ability to operate their own websites at a low cost with the backing of Grooby’s 15 years of experience as the leader in online tranny porn.
St. Jordan is the first model to produce her own content and build her site using Grooby’s unique technology. Her site, BrittanyStJordan.com (http://www.brittanystjordan.com/), features exclusive, solo photo and video sets of Brittany masturbating and using toys, along with hardcore scenes with men and other transsexuals.
Fans can now interact with the “tattooed tranny of your she-male dreams” by reading her blog and participating in forums.
"We set up our network to give transgender models an alternative to working with companies that produce solo sites, take 50 percent of the profit and give the model little or no ownership or creative identity," said Grooby CEO Steven Grooby. "Our system means the models must work harder, but the site is all theirs. This isn't really about Steven, it's about the multitude of 'industry professionals' (i.e. other transsexual models) who insisted that my ideas would never work, and only because they didn't want them to as long as they came from me. First of all, a huge thank you to Bella for getting so much attention for this thread. I really couldn't pay for this kind of PR and I am sure my weekly totals will be evidence of that.

If anyone ever has an idea that involves intellectual property it is best NOT to discuss said idea on a public forum where nobody has signed a non-disclosure agreement. With that being said I do not think that any idea was ripped off of Bella by anyone at Grooby. When it comes to running a solo site the most most pain in the ass part in the production of content and keeping the site updated. So in order to eliminate this while still hosting solo sites the Grooby Network was put into place. Grooby gets to keep doing what it has been doing for 15 years administratively and we, the models, manage our content and updates.

So why did I say yes to Grooby? Because I get to do the part that I love; making content, editing content and managing the web site. I have complete control over the entire thing. And by hosting my site with Grooby I now have their expertise in marketing, customer service and they deal with the administrative stuff that I don't want to. I feel perfectly fine handing them 20% in order to compensate them for the support that they provide for me.

A lot of people hate and despise Steven for many reasons and some of you will be bitter old people on your death bed still cursing him. I, however won't join that campaign. He may be one of the many things that several of you have made him out to be but at the end of the day he is a businessman running a highly successful transsexual porn empire. So being that he was the only person to even reply to an email when I was first starting out, let alone gave me my first shoot, I have a high level of loyalty and respect for him.

This is the internet and we are all mighty giants of righteousness while safely sitting at a keyboard and defaming everyone else. So instead of wasting the time it takes to bash someone on their accomplishments it may be more productive to talk about your own.

Steven, I thank you for the support and guidance from day one. Without you there wouldn't be a brittanystjordan.com for anyone to perv out on. I really don't give a damn what anyone says. OMG, those are hugely important parts of a site! I'd say 80% of this industry is marketing, and some might say it's even more. They are the aspects of a website that one would want to keep the most control of!

We don't need Steven to be independent. That's my whole point. All us girls have to do is cross promote and we can cut out the middle man. Besides, if he really wanted to promote girls that badly he could always become a site affiliate, which he often does anyway.

You are trying to offer advice and tell girls what they should be doing, when you yourself haven't any thing to show for credibility to back up your advice. You have done nothing in the adult industry worth noting and have managed to get yourself black listed across the board pretty much. Your sites that you offer to build for people look very unprofessional and I can tell you right now, are pretty insecure. I don't see how they will get approved by visa, etc.

I've always proposed a sort of porn union without the extra chefs in the soup, but it's been obvious to me for some time that nobody who's plugged into the current system wants it. I find that disappointing, but that just means I'll have to look for connections elsewhere, and I've found quite a few already, so I hope all of us girls find success, but I'll always feel like certain people are righteously profiting and some are exploiting, and I think we know which category I've put Steven in.

I think you are getting confused over the 20% - that's not the credit card rate and I guarantee however collectively you pool your sites, that you won't get a lower credit card percentage than we're taking off the sites. On top of that, the models don't have to pay the Visa renewal fee annually.

Graphics guy? Are you using a photographer as well? Doesn't sound like 100% independent to me. Still depending on men to do stuff for you. You still have to pay them in some way. I guess you can count that as an expense from your site, which works out to a percentage of your profit.

Strokers has a business outside of TS. They're not trying to control the TS niche: they just want to make a buck.

Devils is the same as Strokers.

The operative word there is 'employed,' not 'coined' or 'popularized.' Steven definitely popularized it with porn fans.

I already explained how there is no double standard in the usage of the word because we're actually talking about it's popularization.
