I've been waiting for someone to suggest this one- in between Bella's positive thread and loveboof's negative thread-

Can you think of something neutral to say about the last comment or poster? Relevant but not good or bad?

The weather is average. What's "The Fast Show"?

I have yet to assess the presence or absence of any comparison, harsh or affectionate, that may or may not have been made in the preceding posts of Stavros.

I shall make a declaration, or not, regarding "The Fast Show" itself in a thread similar to this one started by either Bella Bellucci or loveboof. Or this thread.

To not comment, is to take a position....one of ambiguity.

MdR Dave
10-15-2011, 06:35 AM
I find that comment to be unrelated to the prior statement, though not necessarily in the pejorative sense.

Also, menhaden are sometimes known as mossbunkers.

Merkurie

I stand resolutely agnostic on that point of view.

Dino Velvet

MdR Dave, did you find the weather rather mild today?

MdR Dave

I didn't notice, Dino, though I suppose we may have had weather today.

Dino Velvet
10-15-2011, 06:58 AM
Yeah. I had a decent workout at the gym and talked to this chick from Switzerland on the treadmill. She was OK.

MdR Dave
10-15-2011, 07:10 AM
That is something one or more people could do, Dino. You may or may not have felt something about that experience.

If 'down' is synonymous with 'off', then logic theory states you may or may not be correct, or downright wrong. It may, or may not depend on your outlook....or, someone elses.

There is no co-op supermarket in our town; however, the co-op we do have can arrange funerals. I understand that, like their cheese, the service is considered value for money.

Well, I was once at a crematorium funeral in Scotland where the deceased had a pacemaker that they'd forgotten to remove, so when it went into the furnace there was a loud explosion and the chimney went on fire. Old John always had wanted to go out with a bang. :)

And that was a "Co-operative Funeral."

Stavros
10-17-2011, 11:38 AM
So he went with a bang, not a Whymper, and not on the side of a mountain.
