Yawn. But it's kinda our own fault. Watch the fucking ratings...they'll be off the charts, which leads to this...which came first...a sleazy, superficial media, or a bunch of pop culture morons looking for instant stimulus fill their mundane lives?

I know it brings me back to being a kid and seeing the OJ trial on everything. It sucks!!! They said its going to be 5 to 6mths... Its been one day and i dont want to hear anymore, or see anymore fans crying outside and singing MJ songs!!!

Luckily, they're not showing too much of it here.

Sadly true, shit omk, I'm agreeing with you yet again!

Even the lawyers are media whores in the US, so it's hardly surprising that a lot of people can't tell where the media circus stops and the serious judicial stuff starts.

Over here with closed courts and a fairly lively contempt law things tend to be left to the juries to decide without media interference, and when the media do go too far, they get slapped and fined. I can't help thinking that's more in the service of justice.

It took about 5 seconds, after I figured out it was a live feed, to find the remote & switch to anything else.
