Wow,that is great news, Allanah. I have no patience for award shows, so I didn't tune in (I did switch channels when 24 ended and so I caught the Anthony Hopkins tribute, but that's it). I would've liked to see that.

Progress is happening; last night on Gray's Anatomy there was a sensitive and intelligent storyline about a 14-year-old discovering that she was actually intersexed and then choosing to live as a boy when her parents wanted to "protect" her from the truth and have the surgeo "correct" the problem of her undescended testes was really excellent and sensitive. They even had a psychologist provide a nice, succinct explanation. So media representation is improving, I think.
