Hi folks
Seriously thinking of going to Bangkok for some hot fun.
Up till now have been scouring over the usual escort sites for many months hoping to see a quality TS to visit my area, but due to quality, prices and some dubious reviews i have never went ahead with arranging a meet.
Without doubt my favourite type is Asian ladyboys so very tempting to just sneak over to Bkk for a bit and have all the fun at the fair.
Anyone been of late and can advise what I can expect to pay for an hour or two back to the hotel.
Not completely flush with cash at the minute but got free time as between jobs. So its basically looking to get a cheap flight (seen some for approx £500) and a cheap budget priced hotel thats clean. (if anyone has recommendations on the hotel front be much appreciated, expected cost, names etc).
This will allow me to spend the rest on some beers, cracking thai food and more importantly cute ladyboys to blow my mind.

You will find a ton of current info on both Bangkok and Pattaya for ladyboy fun. The same group has a Bangkok firum, but it has been down for some time due to technical problems. There is a Bangkok section on the Pattaya site.

You can find good info on hotels, prices, tips, particular ladyboys, scams, etc. There are many board members who are frequent visitors and purveyers of ladyboy services. In Bangkok there are several locations for ladyboy bars and clubs (i.e. escorts) but the largest and most popular seems to be Nana Plaza. Pattaya is just over an hour away and some call it ladyboy heaven, but some prefer the big city to a seaside resort.

Depends if you meet on the street or in a bar. The prices are the same for GG's and LB's. A bar girl will need to be 'bar fined'. That means u need to pay 500bt to the bar to take her out. There are two prices for the girls. Short time (about an hour or so) is about 1000-1500bt. Long time (overnight) is about 2500-3000bt. Then there are the short time hotels that are always in the area. Nana Plaza has several within the complex itself. Generally speaking the prices in Pattaya are lower than BKK. There are lots of street girls on walking street in Pattaya though I've heard there are trying to get them into the bars. After closing time at Nana (2.00am) the street is literally teaming with GG's and LB's that will be looking for a customer before going home, as the bars are closed you will not have to pay a fine. Even though the bar complexes have to close at 2am here are several 'mini bars' that get set up around the corner on Sukhumvit and if you are looking for some fun there is still plenty to be had to till late in the night. Sometimes going for an early morning walk there are several GG's and LB's still going at about 7am. As with any other place in the world if people are still out at 7am they are usually on something so you need to be careful. Have fun!

The dollar dropped and the baht went up. 3019 baht = $100 (used to be about 4200)
For $100 you could get the girl from the bar (barfine 500-600 baht), a hot ladyboy for a few hrs 1800-2200 baht or overnight for a bit more.

Pattaya is a shit hole but you'll probably find it cheaper. Please be very very careful in Pattaya and don't take girls from the street. I'd far reccommend Bangkok far more, get a decent hotel with a pool for downtime, great bars, restaurants and culture for the daytimes, great massages for later in the day and Nana Plaza is IMMENSE for meeting ladyboys and real girls.
I'd recommend the Dynasty Hotel in Bangkok or the Dynasty Grande for a very reasonable £40/$65

I used to live in the apartment next door to it. If the JW Marriott is too expensive (can sometimes get it for £70) then I stay here and it's very nice - with a good restaurant on the ground floor and I've seen plenty of guys take girls back there without a problem.

lol, a LOT of the guys like the Dynasty. They all swear by it so it's definitely a good place. But keep in mind hotels are like...... Honda cars. They'reeverywhere. I move to about 3 or 4 different hotels every time I'm in Bangkok, just to experience them all. Don't even book ahead of time, just walk around and choose one that looks good.. chances are always good that there will be rooms avail.

I have to disagree with this a bit. The street scene on lower Sukhumvit is a lot of fun, especially during high season. Almost every hotel will take the girls ID and hold it until she leaves. Some of the hotels will call your room when she comes to the front desk to claim her ID to make sure everything is OK. I put money/phone/camera in the safe as soon as I get to the room. But I do that with bar girls also. The only time I ever did get ripped off I was drunk, stupid and she worked at a bar.

Having said that in the last almost six years I have spent about 3 weeks total in BKK and about two years total in Pattaya. Lots of dedicated LB bars and you can often take two for the same price as one in Nana.

Leave your bags with the bellman at a place like the Ambassador on Soi 11, walk around and negotiate a cash deal with a hotel. make them an offer. You'll save a lot...

I live here, so you might not want to do this. Don't take them back to you room. For 8 quid, you can get a cheap hotel for the night with no ID required. It's an insurance policy against getting your shit ripped off.

King Crimson makes a good point. The street girls are just as safe / dangerous as the girls in NP. I prefer the late night outdoor bars. There is a ladyboy only outdoor bar just west of the Landmanrk on the "even" side of Sukhumvit. great fun.
