While I will admit I am enjoying the miminal snow count (gray & black snow is the worst) I cant stand this climate we are in

Yesterday was all about one thing: fog. It was everywhere, and I was totally into it. I actually had to drive 2 1/2 hours each way in it yesterday because I had some business in PA. I could not have been happier. More fog...

Philly has had a lot of odd weather too lately. Not really cold enough for a heavy coat during the day.

We get Philly leftovers here. Cool one morning, icy by noon, rainy/drizzly by night and then 30-sh in the morning and sixty-ish in the afternoon the next day with lots of sun.

Drizzle, then torrential rain with fog this morning, gloomy now. Ick.

The Mexicans are building chicken condos in the rain. This could be interesting.

It just blows here. Really. Near-hurricane force winds last nite, but no snow. All of the needles are gone off one of my 'evergreens'. I expect the streets will be full of tree branches and stray garbage bins this morning. The indoor cat huddled under the covers most of the nite because the house was shaking. I expect the stray is half way to Kansas...Or Oz...by now.

I have not heard any roosters this morning and imagine the image of Foghorn Leghorn without feathers.

It's getting there. Just after one PM and the sun is out and the wind died down to just a blustery day. The cocks (Roosters, I say, birds, that is) are crowing and I hear the power saws again. I'm not sure what they're building, but after the hawk attacks a couple of weeks ago, I'm guessing it's bigger/better chicken condos.

Saw the stray cat chasing leaves in the park, so he did not blow off to Kansas after all. :D
