Thanks for your reply. I understand how easy it is to contract STDs as I come from a family of physicians, and that is my main problem. I want very intimate sex -- it would mean exchanging bodily fluids. I understand the whole thing where "anyone" can have an STD but I come from a place in society where people don't have double-digit sexual partners and virtually no one has any kind of worry about that. Well this is the issue. If I met someone who is an established person (like a porn performer) and well-known, I would not feel too much need to ask for a test. Escorts seem very risky. In addition, if I just met a TS girl in everyday life, got to know her, that would also not necessarily warrant a test for me. That would be the same as meeting any girl. Ok so I know that me using that word "purity" makes me sound a certain way and I did not mean it like that. I just wanted to be clear that I have not had many partners and so I would not like to suddenly ruin my life by getting some serious STD. Those "mild" cold sores parents give to their kids on their mouth is herpes simplex one (that's why so many people have it)...that can easily be spread to another persons genitals if they don't already have the same virus.
