What I read when the movie came out was that Jaye had never really done full drag before, don't know whether to believe that entirely, & wasn't that interested in it other than as a theatrical/fashion statement. She's more into androgeny, certainly not a TG...unfortunately.

He is just beautiful.
I remember seeing the movie and of course by then I was already attracted to transexuals(not buying movies though) and I was impressed by his mannerisms.
I was so smitten with him that I went out and bought a fashion magazine(W) with him in it and I still have it to this day.
