Well let me restate a few things that I had previously mentitioned,

I voted for Bush donated over $1,000 to both his campagins.
I voted for McCain/ Palin & donated to Sarah Palin's Sarah P.A.C



If I had to say I have done one thing politically that I am "truly ashamed of now" It would be this:
I did support Ohio Issue 1 in 2004 that made gay marraige illeagal in Ohio. You have to remember I was A Straight Male at the time, I am a Late bloomer Trans person did not start until I was 24. So yes I guess I did support one anti-gay marriage bill , but that was 8 years ago. Now I am trying to change the culture of my party. To make it reflect the 21st century not he 19th.

Yes I will semi-support anyone in the Republican party to a point, with Bachmann & Perry I may have to hold my nose while doing so, but yes I will vote for them.

Would I work for Perry or Bachman? My personal opinion no.

As a College Republican Chair they put me on thier email list....and am trying to push me to support them!

A Constitutional amendment requires 3/4 of all state legislatures to ratify it in order to pass. That means 38 states must approve, and that will never happen. These candidates know that will never happen. Not that they don't personally agree with the idea, Bachmann and Santorum certainly do, but they know an amendment will never pass. It would take only 13 states to kill it. All this just amounts to political grandstanding on their part, to appease their Christian Right masters whom they serve as lapdogs. It keeps the political contributions flowing. What annoys me (besides their archaic thinking) is that they think the Constitution is a document to be toyed with, and rewritten and amended on a whim. Enough states know better, and such an amendment would never come to pass, just like the ridiculous flag-burning amendment that was brought up years ago. It's funny how the teabaggers are all about state's rights until an issue like this pops up. Then it needs a Constitutional amendment. What a douchebag Perry is. Texas should have been allowed to secede 2 years ago when he wanted to. We would all be better off.
