I want to know how many guys actually take the time to read the ads? Because a lot of guys spend a lot of time reading posts in here. Does text in an advertisement play any part in contacting a provider or does a more simpler ad with 15 words or less grab more attention?

I read the ads to see what they have to offer. Because there are a few
that say they only top and I am not into that . Plus I go to SER to see if they have review posted or even here to see if they got some type of mention.

I'm definitely a reader, so the more said in the ad/site the better. What a woman says and how she says it gives me a little bit of an insight into her character. The first T-girl I met stated "No attitude" at the top of her site and then went on to post one of those 'get to know me' quizes that you find on the internet all the time (What's your favorite color? Cat or dog? Where were you born? Favorite movie? etc.). After reading all of her 161 (*Whew*) answers and comments, it helped me decide to contact her and go from there.

Conversely, I've seen Eros listings that claimed "No attitude" that pretty much said little more than "Here's my number. Pay me. Do me. Get out". The tone didn't inspire images of pleasant before/after conversation at the party. :roll:

Besides, wouldn't you really want to meet a client who was a bit interested in reading about you than one who would see an ad and get bored after the part about "10 inches, call now"?

When I see an escort, I usually see one of 3 girls that I visit on a regular basis, so I only check their ads to make sure they are in town.
If for any reason, none of my regular girls are available, then I will read the entire ads on the lists. As I like Asian girls, I will check the ads of all the Asian girls on the London lists and wait for something in the wording or the pictures to jump out and grab me. It's not foolproof but it's a method that has worked alright so far :wink:

Just because guys read the ads, it doesn't mean that they are going to "abide" by them. So when some guy calls you and asks for stuff which you specifically state in your ad that you don't do, don't assume he's a dumbass who didn't bother to read your ad. He's probably a dumbass who did read the ad, and it only made him want those things from you more.

Part of the problem is the usual double edged sword: girls get annoyed because the guy doesn't read the ad or ignores what's in it, but the amount of "truth in advertising" is so minimal in TS escort ads, a guy would have to be a moron to pay attention to it. I have to agree here. A picture is worth a 1000 words (and a cliche is worth shit, lol), and most guys won't bother to read a long bit of text, but some do (I will if I'm interested in the girl), so put your salient points in the first few lines and then paint a word portrait of yourself in the remaining text. Don't be repetitive and don't go on too long, but include enough to create an impression of your personality, likes, and how you approach your clients.

Like gaiseric, I'm regular with three girls and occasionally (as when one of my regulars chooses to opt out of the biz or relocates or just to meet someone new) I'll contact a girl I haven't seen before.
