Something about him is creepy, and it has nothing to do with having red hair. Louie CK has red hair, and he's hilarious. lol Someone edit that George C Scott footage to Carrot Top's act. That might help. lol

I had a brief encounter with him years ago working as a stagehand for one of his shows. I'll agree with the quirky. What suprises me is that despite his seemingly one note performances, he's good at changing gears completely. He started his set with a very intellectual (and IMO very funny) riff about Of Mice and Men performed by squid. Sadly it went way over the audience's head. He quickly switch gears and started making jokes about physical elements of the venue which got the audience roaring. It takes skill to bring a crowd back like that and he handled it perfectly.

I was in the front row of a Gallagher concert many years ago in NYC. It is a whole different experience actually being there. We all had to keep our clear plastic tarp ready to cover us at a moments notice. He has a variety of jokes that kept us laughing, but he is mainly a visual comedian He was great in his day.
