It's my pleasure to announce that the AVN award winner for Best Transsexual Performer 2005 finally, goes to Gia Darling.
While Miss Darling ackowledges that she won the award because of her overall contribution to the TS video scene there is no doubt that she deserved it 100%.

Well it's not really a debate Kramer - she won and people are congratulating her for it. Danielle Foxx wasn't nominated this year although I expect her to be in the future.
I think Gia would be the first to acknowledge that she won this award for her overall contribution to transgender erotica and the series that she's starred in and produced rather than one specific title.

Though i am glad Gia won, i'm still shocked and
disappointed that Daniella Fox was not even nominated.
From what i understood, it's up to the production companies
to cast a vote for a potential nominee , but to overlook Daniella
was beyond belief .
Just maybe somebody assume someone else was going
do the voting honors and Fox ended up getting somehow
lost in the mix.

This just can't happen again next year.

And also keep in mind that there will likely be
new nominees like Yasmin Lee and Carmen Cruz that could
make their bid for that award in 2006.

As for the Transexual Video of the Year , i was really rooting
for Anabolic's TGirls 2 to seize that honor, but
can't argue too much against Joey Silvera's work in the Rogue 24.

Well obviously everyone is going to have their opinions and favorites. Of course, I am partial to certain people, like Gia, because we are such close friends.

I think its kind of shitty of Kramer to be say shitty things about Gia. Number one, everyone has their own taste about what they like to see. Number two, Gia knows the kind of dvd's she produces, and likes to, knows, and is aware that her style is softer- more "playboy" like; which is obviously selling (her longevity is proof of).

Now, I was shocked that there were only four noms as well. But according to source of mine, AVN felt those nominated did the best work within the deadline. Like ir or not, it is what it is.

I had a FABULOUS time at the convention and show this year. Much, much better than last.

I'm just in and wore OUT from the last six days- and it was a hell of of time!

Hopefully we can post images soon, as I have a whole bunch of great pics from the festivities- including some cool shots we took with Ron Jeremy, Jenna Jameson, Minka, and a few others ;).

the fake look must be in anyway- as we were SWARMED with people taking pics of the both of us all three days we were working the booth. I think Saturday from 11:30 AM-4:40 PM, I was able to sneak in two bathroom breaks and the rest of the time was taking pictures, doing interviews, and signing autographs. I don't think we got a chance to sit once (my feet are still paying for it). Some of the interviews we did: Real Sex for HBO, Howard Stern, PornoNewsNetwork, Video Game TV, The Swedish Version of Hustler, Hot (French Version of Hustler), Girls Gone Wild, and few independent websites, shows, documentaries, etc.

Guess the FAKE look is working for us both ;)
