Is there a sly campaign to ridicule Michele Bachmann by posting unflattering photos of her in the press? Just today I see a photo and article relating to her appearance on Newsweek which makes her look, well, mad; while the Iowa Food Fair photo has her with something in her mouth which...I don't mind having a proper debate on policy, that's what she is there for. But if this is not nipped in the bud, what's next? Ron Paul and Newt Ginrich in their designer swimwear at the beach? Mitt Romney in his pyjamas (assuming he wears them)?

And anyway I thought the Primaries were due in February 2012...

For some reason I can't post the photos

It's not about her. This is what national politics has turned into. It's all bullshit non-issues & gotchas, along with not-so-subtle innuendo supported by 5 second sound bites & fancy photo editing. It's all just wing nuttery to the nth degree. The thought process is completely out of hand, & there's nothing of substance when all concentration is focused on the extremes.

This is exactly the same problem that we've been discussing in another thread.

The right did the same with Hillary and pelosi , Newsweek have done it with Palin, although it's hard to find an unflattering photo of her, so they stole one of Palin in some skimpy running gear in a running magazine. There does seem a huge amount of sexism when female politicians get to the highest levels of politics. I heard one CNN buffoon make out Palin entering the GOP race, would turn it into some kind of mud wrestling match between her and Bachmann.

Both sides are guilty of it, and seriously America is in serious trouble with it's credit rating and other issues, and I certainly think the media of both sides should be concentrate on holding politicians on both sides to account and not focusing on petty shit.

Take Bachmann, there is plenty of red meat for the left on her policies and beliefs, some of which I even think are extreme. Being 'submissive' to her husband, banning porn, praying away the gay . Palin called that submissive business out when asked about it. Todd Palin certainly doesn't wear the trousers in that relationship ,you can just tell.

Oh, please. Your country taxes it's people to give inbreds lavish weddings, and to put 24 karat nozzles on your Queen's bidet.

I thought a queen like you would love the idea of a royal family. All those queens and princess's.

Besides the Royal family actually brings in more money than it takes out of the public coffer. Do some research before talking out your arse.

Princess Grace is the the only royal I admire, and I somewhat like her daughters. Your royalty are all frumpy and inbred looking. No offense.

There is the possibility that it doesn't matter who in the hell has these positions. In the post 'Citizens United' years... seems corporations and banks run the show... as I age, I envy survivalists more than power brokers. But I hardly fit into either group... I just hope my end is somewhat polite, before social and political life goes where I think it may... and this over populated cesspool gets even more inhumane and anti nature... damn hippies.

I hardly look like a hippy, but my brain is totally psychedelic. Granola chomping, organic rice milk drinking, bicycle riding, nature girl, tree hugging scum. My very colorful youth, left a mark... it is a scar I am proud of.

Naively I'll still show up at the polls come election day.

Just remember, " It's not just another cute baby, it's a future market, a future consumer".
