Bagdad, the playground for the rich and infamous, where anything can be bought - but for a price. This is Uday Hussein's world and with his depraved lust for debauchery and immorality, he helps himself to whatever turns him on. When army lieutenant Latif Yahia, is summoned to Saddam's palace, he is faced with an impossible request - to be Uday's 'fiday' - his body double, or have his family condemned to death. In a world entrenched in betrayal and corruption knowing who to trust becomes a matter of life or death for Latif, as he battles to escape from his forced existence.

Seems like a winner to me! Uday was completly insane and by most accounts terrorfied the people that knew him. It would be intresting to see how a normal person would act trying to be like him. Im there dude!

Seems like a slam dunk if done right. They're tagging it "The Arabian Scarface". We'll see.

Dominic Cooper is a very fine and versatile British actor, but it will be interesting to see how he tackles both roles.

"The Arabian Scarface" that has to be a joke. Albeit Tony Montana is a fictional character, the whole premiss of that movie is that he was deported criminal refugee from Cuba and within a few short years was a major cocaine distributor who made millions. Uday, no better or worse than Montana, was a psychotic killer handed down from his dictator father. I can't see a comparison. The movie itself looks interesting. Won't spend the dough in a theater to see it. I'll watch for it in six months on the FX channel.

In my humble opinion....

I hate the way they never get Arabs to play Arabs, they throw a load of fake tan on an Englishman instead

Very true. There are plenty of good actors in the Middle east but maybe they're not "box office" in the way Hollywood requires. But by this logic they never will be!
