Ironically enough the banner over this thread as I was viewing it was for the "Shemales Get Fucked" site, which in a way is what we're talking about. Kelly, you make a couple of very good points about the business, especially about the value of the talent. The first is that top performers such as yourself can demand higher dollars and get it, simply because the name recognition is there. Then there is the idea that with girls doing whatever they can to make living expenses, they're going to be willing to shoot for lower dollars than you are willing to work for.

I remember a thread awhile back where someone wanted to start a union for TS pornstars in order to force the business to set a fair wage for the work. The OP was thinking that with a union negotiating contracts that everyone would be treated fairly and equally. As I recall the thread sort of died away after the OP got a better deal afterwards.

As you have said, Kelly, there are no really wealthy transsexuals. I think though that ladies like you and Wendy Williams are going to change that in the not so distant future, because, apparently dissatisfied with the opportunities being offered to you, you are creating your own empires and frankly I think the business will be better for it.

In any entertainment enterprise, top dollars will always flow to the top performers and there will always be a bottom rung and some sort of minimum pay for the people just starting out.
