I was gonna just post about the Markham family, but I just read in another thread about the Moore family too...

So the Markhams have Britney, Jamie, and I thought I read they have a cousin, Audrina, that are all some level of transgendered.

And Carmen Moore has a sister Mia...

And I imagine there's others.

Them all being in the porn industry would make sense from the pov of the first influencing the next, but it seems unusual that there'd be members of the same family being transgendered, doesn't it?

Is it a matter of upbringing? (And I wonder what the other family members think...I seem to remember Britney saying she has severl GG sisters and they all get along great, parents too?) Is it genetic? Is this a more common phenomena than I think?

It's probably a combination of genetic and upbringing. And by that I mean that there is the genetic predisposition towards transsexualism, and families that are accepting of their members are more likely to have multiple members who are, because they see how the others are treated and aren't afraid to be themselves. Not sure about the Moore family, but I've read in interviews with Britney that her family is very accepting of her.

When i look at the Markhams, i kind of have the idea that Britney and Audrina both started their transistion and that Jamie's ok brother was now a hot sister he looked up too, and also wanted to be like her, so he follows her footsteps into porn in a very early stage in transistioning. :)
