It's time to do it again. Summer is closing in on us, ladies and gentlemen and for those of you who attended the first Hung Angels Meet Up in April know, a good time was had by all. Many people here voiced an interest in the Meet Up and the idea of a Summer event was also discussed. So here we are in mid June. Date? Place? Had a great time meeting so many people I only knew online. The more advance notice, the greater the turn-out is likely to be, so let's get the ball rolling so everyone can make plans to attend. We can try something new, perhaps a Saturday at Fusion or maybe even Secret again on a Thursday. There's a Friday party as well. Whatever works best for everyone.

Pride is coming up the weekend of June 26th, and Pride's i've seen notoriously neglect having awesome gender variant parties... we could have something like "Hung Angels Pride" at one of the venues mentioned, I'm not familiar with the NYC club scene outside of Paddles.

Having it during Pride means you get lots of people visiting from out of the city, and also means many of the potential attendees could be busy doing something associated with Pride.

If/when this happens, I'll be there!

So, since I am talking about parties, I wanted to tell you all about what I expect will be the party of the summer. Sorry, its a Sunday night party but maybe that's an excuse for a 3 day weekend.

Lauren Brown aka Ruby is having her Birthday party at Vandam (Greenhouse) on Sunday July 17th. Its free to get in but you have to get past the doorman. I never can get in when I am alone, but I know if I go with one of the gurls I can get in. I know all the gurls will be there for this one. For anyone that has never been to a Vandam party and miss those great Allanah Starr parties of the past, this is as close as you are going to get.

Your comment about seeing blow or crack on a table inside Secret has disappeared. Probably for good reason; it seems a little far-fetched. There's tight security inside the club and Secret doesn't have tables. You're probably mistaking Secret for one of those classier joints in Queens that you mentioned. Either way, it's a long train ride down from Newburgh. I don't blame you.

Oh man! I was bummed I had to miss it but it sounds like a beat scene. The date was bad. Almost everyone is out of town those last weeks in August. Now I'm glad I took that gig.
