Sound bar is ok, Spy bar is across the street and much more fun. I would say check out Wrigley Field bleachers even if you don't like baseball. The bleachers and local bars after were always a good time. Navy Pier and the Field Museum if you want something a little more normal than heavy drinking. Since you're from Vegas, if you gamble there are plenty of casinos around if you want to gamble, Horseshoe in Hammond has a bus that goes to Chinatown if you want to catch a ride.

Speaking of Chinatown, some awesome food there, I recommend you eat there at least once. Get some Chicago deep dish pizza too, its the one thing I miss the most from back home. You just can't find any good pizza out here in Vegas.

I assume you're like most women and love to shop, so hit up Michigan Avenue as well. Any store you can think of is down there. Oh, and the Sears Tower (its called Willis now, but I will not call it that name) has an awesome view from their glass floored observation deck. It's really trippy staring straight down over 100 stories.
