Having done both in my not so distant youth, I have to say cocaine every time. Heroin doesn't just relax you. It floors you hard and coming down or off it is hell. You won't age better on it either it fucks you up just about the same way meth and Crack do. A little coke on the other hand is easier to keep recreational and won't visibly age you within a few months of starting it. Your chance of overdosing is far lower when doing a few lines of coke. Sniffing or shooting heroin is a crap shoot unless you know what your doing. You can sniff a gram or two of coke in a sitting and still function if you sniff a gram or two of heroin in one sitting its a safe bet you will be dead or at least wish you were. Plus tweekers are meth head.

That's disappointing. I always thought heroin would be fun. The addiction is a little bit of a bummer though.

I think of the two you can probably function a lot better on Coke...I've done coke in my younger days and never really got addicted to it. One of the biggest reasons I stopped was because I found that really heavy coke users were enormous pains in the ass to be around...especially your typical coke snorting club-head assholes...I prefer my friends (the few that I have) to be mellower than that.

Keep in mind cocaine is still a schedule II drug (along with percocet, dilaudid, and first line meds for ADHD amphetamines and methylphenidate), meaning there is a legal, Federal use. Heroine, first tauted as a "heroic drug" by Bayer, is a schedule I (with marijuana, PCP, MDMA aka ecstasy) meaning it has no legit medical use. Federal law always beats state law..sorry CA. Heroine is just a form of morphine with certain functional groups that allow the brain to process the morphine more quickly. That said, cocaine still seems more appealing.

Never did X but an ex-GF of mine used to. She was very touchy-feely when she took it. I didn't complain. I drank my whiskey, smoked some weed, took her by the hand into the bedroom, and slammed the door behind us.

At 43, I think I was a generation early for the designer drugs like X, Special K, and other stuff. We had Marijuana, Cocaine, Heroin, Acid/Mushrooms, PCP, and some pills. Used to hear about people selling 'ludes but they were always bunk.

The closest stuff I ever took to heroin was nubain, which is like a cousin to it. I was snorting pile after pile of cocaine at my buddies house. He was through and I was trying to get him to do more. He refused so I did my pile and his. I started feeling like Godzilla and my heart was going a mile a minute with my eyes bulging out of my head. My buddy got worried and loaded up a syringe full of nubain. At the moment I thought, "Cool. More drugs." He shot me up. I was so high from the coke I felt nothing. After about 10 minutes I felt some of the edge taken off. I think he had this nubain more like a tranquilizer dart for me because he's seen me go mad on the coke more times than he'd like to remember. Drugs R Good.
