Many, many, many...Many years ago, I happened to be in the office of Senator Edward M. Kennedy (D- MA) and saw, on his desk, a volume entitled: All I know About Politics by Edward M. Kennedy.

Being a bibliophile, I picked it up and flipped the pages, looking for a quotable quote.

Every page was blank.

lol, actually there was a thing on "Cooks Tour" about a cutting-edge place in London, and I've read of others...and I know it's not British, but I wanna try haggis (sp?).

Italian heroes...what's the old joke about how do the Italians march into battle?...hands raised over their heads...

Yes Haggis is British - it comes from Scotland.

Yes, I know it's from Scotland. But judging by some of the past post's on here, I thought it might offend some if I called it British. Personally, I don't care, I'm just into the flavors...

My friend, Britain is an island. It includes England, Wales and Scotland.

I think you meant "not English". British and English are not the same thing at all.

Thanks...I was referring to a previous thread on here, and some rivalries that I really have no interest in...like I said, I was talkin 'bout the palate!

Happy Festivus...

English food is terrible and so are english women.
Why do you think Hugh Grant went out for a blowjob while dating Liz Hurling?

Italian food is great on the other hand.

Got to say in defense of my countrymen that British Dental Health is excellent and far stronger than most places...the books should be entitled "British Costmetic Smiles".

I always wondered about the possible relation betwixt the British Royal Family, recent generation, and the Royal Family of the US: Kennedy/Fitzgerald. Having met some of the latter, who all get their 'piano key' smiles from late matriarch Rose Fitzgerald 1890-1995 (Who may have gotten it from her father, two-term Boston Mayor John Francis "Honey Fitz" Fitzgerald 1863 - 1950) , though I don't ever recollect the latter having an open-mouthed smile in any of his public photos), it's obvious where the large-toothed grin comes from in the political cartoons.

Compared to the smiles of Elizabeth II, Prince Charles, Princess Anne, etc. and the orthodontal resemblance is downright scary.

Those are spot on, J. Maybe I'll make next year's list.

I'm amused to see that an edit-bot has been over all the posts mentioning " . " That's more than a little scary, but I understand the workings of it.

There's a reason I didn't sleep for a week after watching Sandra Buttocks in "The Net".

I survived C-day, but spent Boxing Day rescuing chickens and stray cats from a hawk (And damn, is he =pissed= at me). :x
