Why is it that every time a trans does something public, it's "for the community" and not because they want to? I don't understand why Kim would want to be celebrated as a transsexual who also happens to sing rather than a good singer who just so happens to be transsexual. I don't get it.

What you are saying is that someone has to be "pretty enough" to be a star? So unless you're pretty enough, no amount of talent will help you? Another thing, you may think it is mediocre, but as someone who spends MANY hours in a recording studio, attending gigs, and talking to labels, believe me her songs are FAR from mediocre.

You are listening to the words, listen to the voice. A song can always be written to sound better, a voice cannot be re-worked to sound better (without computer programs)

Not trying to be an ass, as I know it is your opinion, but don't judge someone by their looks, or the words of their songs.

Most stars DO NOT have anything to do with the actual song writing process, they are given the song and told to sing.

Gotta agree with you on the first part, and the second. There is no Auto-Tune in those songs, except at one part in the intro of one of the songs, I can hear it, but after about 3 words it goes away.
