52m for 4 years.... my head is spinning.... at least he has a noodle arm (thats the best way I could twist it into something positive, I am now going to cry in the corner.... alone.... with my world series trophy :) )

Don't follow baseball much, but I got lot of respect for the Yankees and their history. I think Sox fans may not be happy about this move, lol. Just gives them something new to whine about.

13 mill a year is a bit more than it's worth. But not an outrageous overpayment according to the market. One thing you know he is able to handle pressure. One thing the Yanks need is a good young athletic outfielder. Bernie isn't a great 4th outfielder to have.
Expect the Saux to un load Manny and get some good talent and a decent CF.
