don't you agree?

Nope. I'm indifferent about seeing them and for the performers' sake think they ought to be an industry standard.

Nope...could care less. Honestly, I never understood why it bothers people..but to each their own I guess.

It's become a part of the landscape and conveys a good message. I'd rather see someone wrapped up rather then gambling with their lives.

What I could never fathom is why so many vids use condoms on toys. While it's perfectly understandable that they are being used to keep from cleaning up or sterilizing so the can be used again or by others, it also conveys the message that someone is being very cheap or lazy. If you're going to spend that amount on talent and location, wouldn't either buying new toys for each shoot or taking a little effort to wash and sterilize the toys for re-use be that difficult? Total turn off that's entirely unecessary.

it looks more natural for sure ... i wouldnt say its a turn off with them in porn ..

morally should performers wear them/ who knows each to their own... i shoot some scenes with and some without ....i only shoot my bb scenes with models i know well and of course have certs and a cert history.

Myself i find it much easier to stay hard without ... but its an age old debate as to if it should be enforced or not ...

Certs mean absolutely nothing unless the person you are having sex with has been tested and then tested again 12 weeks later. (the HIV incubation period)

During that 12 week period they need to have had no unprotected sex.

Can anyone be certain they have only had safe sex?

This is why I NEVER have unprotected sex as people don't always tell the truth

:iagree:While I like bareback, it's not worth the risk. If I don't know the guy, or if I can't trust him to be clean; then no rubber means no play. I may be a little slutty:rolleyes:, butt I'm not stupid.

As far as BB in porn, it should be left up to the performers.

A lot a times, if you have a good cinematographer, you can make it look as though they are not wearing a condom, even though they really are.

I thought the crisis in the porn industry ten years ago when a leading peformer was diagnosed with HIV+ and nearly closed down the industry would have been a warning. So why did they continue? By the way who was the performer and what happened to him? Did his co stars sue him or was he charged with deliberately passing on the virus?

I agree too. But if there is a condom, I always hope that it doesn't end up looking like a haggis.

Entirely up to the individual of course but.... and it a BIG but....

Until they bring out a home HIV testing kit which actually detects whether someone has had HIV contact within the last FIVE minutes, then I would NOT trust anyone to say... look: here are my "certs". I'm clean....

I don't care if they are my trustworthy "friends" or not.

And thats not gonna happen, as it takes a few weeks for the DNA cell structures to transform into HIV producing cells anyway.

Not using a condom is like playing Russion roulette. You just cannot be sure, so why would anyone want to risk their life by doing bare-back....?

Unless they secretly knew they already had taken risks or even worse, was HIV pos already.

Yes there are lots of anti-retro-viral treatments out there to prolong the life of HIV pos patients, but why catch it in the 1st place if its so easy to protect yourself?

Have you seen the endless list of side effects of those drugs produce, not to mention the Insurance and workplace implications if you carry the virus.

Just BAG it and be safe... easy peasey.

Going raw makes me nervous for the performer.

I agree, I'm so sick of all those "I'm here to rob the bank" or "I'm here to rob the store" plotlines in porn.

Oh, wait, you said rubbers in porn.
