OBAMA outsmarts trump and uses the bully podium

TRUMP APPRENTICE SHOW INTERRUPTED BY OBAMA

Prime time interrupted: Osama bin Laden dead

President Obama has endured entertainment industry criticism over the last few years for requesting premium broadcast air time for making speeches. But Sunday night’s abrupt and unexpected interruption is unlikely to draw any complaints.
Multiple news organizations carried the President’s announcement that, at last, Osama bin Laden is dead. ABC, CBS, and NBC cut away from scheduled programming to cover this enormous news.
With all the back and forth between President Obama and Donald Trump in recent weeks, Twitter flared up with amused conspiratorial comments when NBC News cut away from Trump’s The Celebrity Apprentice on the East Coast to carry coverage of the announcement. Some tweeted that the president managed to take out bin Laden and Trump at the same time. Another common joke: “Now Trump will demand to see the death certificate.”
After the NBC News coverage concluded, the broadcaster switched to local news. On the West Coast, the breaking news slightly delayed Celebrity Apprentice, with NBC and CBS eventually opting to return to reality shows and ABC continuing with news coverage. “Tonight I can report to the American people and the world, the United States has conducted an operation that killed Osama bin Laden, the leader of al-Qaeda and a terrorist who’s responsible for the murder of thousands of innocent men, women, and children,” Obama said. “Nearly 3,000 citizens taken from us, leaving a gaping hole in our hearts … The death of bin Laden marks the most significant achievement to date in our nation’s effort to defeat al-Qaeda. His death does not mark the end of our effort…”
Obama said bin Laden was found in a compound in Pakistan and was killed by a small U.S. military team after a firefight. He also said the U.S. took custody of his body.

Listen, Donald Trump is a guy whom everyone can, very easily, poke fun at. Often times in fact the man appears to be making fun of his own over the top persona. All we ask is that the roasters don't do hair jokes. We all know about Trump's hair, we have all heard about Trump's hair for years, and we really don't need to hear more about it tonight. That's kind of low hanging fruit isn't it (perhaps it's actually fruit that's already fallen to the ground)? We want to see the roasters work a wee bit harder than hair jokes (and probably harder than how everything involved with the man is 'the best.'). We think they can manage if they try.

U.S. team's mission was to kill bin Laden, not capture

(Reuters) - The U.S. special forces team that hunted down Osama bin Laden was under orders to kill the al Qaeda mastermind, not capture him, a U.S. national security official told Reuters.
"This was a kill operation," the official said, making clear there was no desire to try to capture bin Laden alive in Pakistan (http://www.hungangels.com/places/pakistan).

Bin Laden was asked to surrender before being shot

Osama Bin Laden was asked to surrender by US troops before he was shot dead, Fox News is quoting intelligence sources as saying.
The terrorist leader had always said he would not be captured alive.
Bin Laden was shot dead during a raid by US ground troops on a compound in Pakistan. His body was captured by the Americans.
The troops landed in four helicopters. One of the helicopters suffered mechanical failure and was destroyed by the Americans. However none of the American soldiers were killed.
One of Bin Laden's sons was also killed in the operation.
President Barack Obama confirmed Bin Laden's death in a White House statement. Celebrations have erupted in Washington and New York. See separate stories
