After learning that the gorgeous Liberty Harkess is a gamer and paints miniatures. I decided to see if anyone else here on the boards does...if so post pics of you paint jobs. Here are some of mine..most of these are 25mm scale, which, for those who dont know, 25mm=6 ft.

Thanks Natasha now for another pic. When gaming I like to have as much visual aid as possible. So here with another minotaur are 2 little wooden barrels I paintes. Picked them up at my local Hobby Lobby in a pack of 12 for $1.50. A little paint and you have custom made terrain.

I sculpt and paint my figurines which are about 12" big. These two characters I sculpted were from Kabuki comic. The Kabuki I did also came as a statue, which is where I copied the idea from. I use plaster and joint compound as my medium. I don't know how to use sculpy clay.

@sillies.. I own some Heroclix....use them to use as custom units in Heroscape. I have mostly DC right now but plan on getting more DC & Marvel down the road.

Yes it takes quite a bit of time, but I usually do a few sculptures at a time, sort of like an assembly line.

But lately I haven't done much sculpting, things seem to get in the way.

Yeah I do the assembly line thing myself sometimes. I will put a base coat of black on 3 or 4 minis. Then when I start painting the details, I will swap in between them while others are drying. I can understand things getting in the way. I've got to work my hobbies in amongst my family and my other interest cooking.

Ive been a gamer as soon as i found out about D&D I was hooked, I just got to feeling nostalgic the other day and tore my place apart looking for where I packed my dice away to the last time I moved. When I couldnt find them a made a special trip to the game store here in town (the source comics and games) and managed to fend off enough nerd boys wet dreams to come home with nearly $200 in just dice. Aftwrards telling myself it was a good thing because this means I would have less money to spend on items like food so it was like diet and weight loss enforcement.

$200 on dice in one night on a whim... Yeah... overkill is pretty much a lifestyle for me, I have two speeds, flat out full bore, and stopped (which usually means something got broken)

Anyways I digress... no pictures of dice yet, I need to find something proper to display them with before I do something like that but I am feeling rather inspired to do a gaming themed video shoot and I know a couple girls that are positively NERD HOT Id like to shoot with.

Well lot longer than me since I have only been playing DND and battletech for the last 13 years and just started getting into WarHammer Fantasy and Warhammer 40k myself. as for being single. All you need is a nice geeky bf and I doubt you ever will be again.

Havent painted anything new lately but did manage to get a game of Heroscape in friday so I took an overview shot of the battlefield I built and then some close up flavor shots with figured in it. I did not paint these figs. Thr pics are of a lower quality as my phone with the good camera got fried and had to switch back to an older phone until I can upgrade again in December.

Your going to pay out the ass for Sisters, if you can find them that is. None of the Sisters units come in plastic so they are extravagantly expensive and Games Workshop has started to pull some of their metal figs so that they can replace them with new plastic ones. I don't know what the rollout schedule is for the change over, but the rumor going around is that the next imperial army to get a new codex is the sisters right after Necrons. So that means A new model line anyways in about a year. It needs to hurry up and happen, because after Sisters should be Tau which is what I play.

Never painted anything, don't have the patience for things like that.

Used to play 2nd Edition D&D very much long long time ago... had almost every book published for it at the time. My big character was a Drow elf fighter mage.
Have no clue what happened to any of it.

Then I moved on to another table top game called Rifts and most of its... 'sub-verses'. Had quite a few bad assed characters in that one also.
I quit playing right before I moved out here to Misery about ten years ago. Haven't played since. Although I do get the itch from time to time.

Wow Libby you are amazing. Not only are you beautiful and can suck yourself but you're a gamer and paint miniatures! I'm in love. I would love to see the stuff you painted for white dwarf. I was a big fan of Fantasy Warhammer when I was younger. I had a pretty good size Skaven horde. I painted a some Eldar for 40k but never had enough to play. A friend wants to get back into it so we may be painting once again.

Speaking of Miniatures, and Warhammer.

Games Day Chicago was pure awesome. I get into writing Warhammer Fan Fiction to, and meet Gav Thorpe, Nick Kyme, Mike Lee, and CL Werner was like a dream come true.

Totally do Bukkake for them. LOL!.

i just had a client bring me some new spacewolves figures , finecast as well :) jubbley


Then i just managd to source from berlin the last remaining boxset of knights of legend 10 knights ... basically these knights are meant to be primarchs of the spacemarines .. so as you can imagine Gamesworkshop put some IP copyright smack down on them so there was only ever 300 of each figure made and only 25 boxsets ever made in teh world :)
