Usually I have nice, thick yellow snot and can really hurl a mighty wad into a handkerchief when I first wake up in the afternoon. But sometimes when I have a cold I notice I have what looks like a couple of green goobers sunning themselves on my mustache. I remember back when I was in the 5th Grade there was this one deathly pale chick that always looked like she had 2 peas packed up her nostrils. What the crap was wrong with her?

Not sure if you're serious, but ... It usually means a bacterial infection (especially if it smells bad), which is not good. Colds and flu are caused by viruses, not bacteria. If you get a bacterial infection on top of a cold or flu, you have a secondary infection. That can cause pneumonia, and at minimum is going to make your cold take longer to go away. It doesn't make sense generally to take antibiotics for colds (because they only kill bacteria, not viruses), but if you have a secondary bacterial infection, it's a good idea to see a doc and get some antibiotics.

I always liked the idea of Snot Rocket Bukkake. Shoot the video during the cold & flu season when everybody has tons of phlegm and mucous and make the guys drink a quart of buttermilk before shooting the scene. The snot will be thick, frothy, and plentiful.
