Unfortunately there are very few plastic surgeons in the world specialized on body/face feminization, specific for transsexuals. The guy must have experience on that kind of job and patient has to listen to his advices about LIMITS, PROPORTIONS, BALANCE and SHAPES. Patient has to admit she’s not a professional and she is in good hands.

I’ve a friend who is a plastic surgeon here in São Paulo, with more than 1,500 cases of transsexual feminization done. T-girls come from many parts of Brazil and other countries to make surgeries with him, and you might know many of them. I consider him the best for the moment, but he’s not cheap.

Personally I feel less is more for me. Those procedures that I would like to have done are more about slowing the hands of time rather then looking like a girl. If you changed my hair color and put a picture of me next to my mom at a similar age you would be amazed how much alike we look. I think that is quite feminine enough for any ordinary purpose (especially since I look absolutely nothing like my father). I also realized a long time ago that if I go totally crazy with the eye shadow and rough that it's just too much. If I could ever get to a point where I was satisfied with the results of my LHR I would drastically reduce the amount of foundation I wear as well since it tends to make me look older then I look without it.

The one major piece of work I want done actually has little to nothing to do with feminization. My chin is far to small for my face structure and it makes my profile look out of balance and my jaw line look bad from certain angles, so I would want it augmented to fix that. It's rather amusing to me that the facial feature I like least and that requires the most work is actually the complete opposite problem that most transsexual girls have. The next biggest thing I would want done would be to have my teeth straighten, capped, whitened, basically give me a sparkling white smile. And maybe at some point, in a couple of years after HRT has done all it can I might want a boob job, but if I don't ever get it I can live without it. I was blessed to have a small girlish frame, and I think God everyday for that.

I think this nails it, and I mean no offence to anything that B says. If a girl is into escorting or movies, part of her response has to reflect market expectation. And if that requires larger boobs or enhancements in other areas, it's perfectly fair enough.

But there are also some girls whose desire is to look like most of the other women they see and to blend in quietly and be accepted for what they are as ordinary members of society. In many ways I think they are by far the bravest.

To the OP: I can understand why girls go for the surgery, but if you cut the testosterone before 25 or 30 I think most will be just fine. Most trans girls look like girls,they really do not look masculine at all. If you are going for a late transition FFS can be a blessing. But a 20 something on HRt or Testosterone blockers can pass just fine. For the most part, there are exceptions.
