I have no idea whether it would shorten your life although going to an unscrupulous, unregistered 'doctor' would certainly carry significant risks.

There are various societies in different countries who advise and support transgendered people e.g. The Beaumont Society in the UK, the STRAP people in the Phillipines and you could seek out advice from that type of source where they have accumulated knowledge and contemporary knowledge of these things.

In UK you would be under the supervision of your own doctor and the clinic at Charing Cross Hospital who have a specialist department for transgendered people.

It's been my experience that a lot of TS girls are crazy whether or not they have a cock or a pussy. Hell I would say that the majority of genetic girls are slightly crazy for that matter. I think it goes with the gender and the hormones.

That's good advice. Your last statement is true of almost every step we take in transition though. Even before I started hormones once I started expressing my inner self on a regular basis I knew that the only direction I could take was forward. Hormones simply reinforces that, and SRS is another stop on the road to transition (granted it is the Grand Central Station stop, but it's still not the end of the journey). All of life is transition for most people, it is simply present in a more extroverted form for t girls.

To be honest if you are considering SRS then you need to do the research. With all due respect I doubt you will get a huge amount on a forum like this. To be honest if you are considering SRS then you need to do the research. With all due respect I doubt you will get a huge amount on a forum like this.
