Najwa - I am a great fan of Arab culture generally and have spent a lot of time in the Gulf - Oman, Bahrain, the UAE and Qatar. I expect to spend a lot more time v. soon across the world in Muslim majority countries for a special project.

What is the TS scene like in Arab countries? I've seen the thread with TSs from Turkey, and i know about the situation in Iran with enforced sex-changes for gay men, though I'm not sure how that works out with TSs there who identify as women, and not gay men, but those countries aren't Arab. Without very much knowledge on the topic, it seems to me like it would be cracked down on pretty hard, but I'll admit that I don't really have any idea.
