Does anybody know of Goodhandys or ever been there? Is it good, bad, boring? Any other tgirl club you would reccomend thats better in the Toronto area?

I've always heard of Goodhandys before but completely forgotten about it when I left ny. Since I came back, its been a long while now since I last saw a tgirl, since most of all the ones I know or used to meet are all in Florida.

The culture in Toronto is one of inclusiveness. Little to no overtly rude or racist behaviour so unlike NYC. NYC is better planned - traffic in Toronto is horrendous. Torontonians have a tendency to be uptight and saying something negative about the city will cause them to proclaim all kinds of bullshit to show just how important the city is to life on the planet Earth. NYC has a real theatre district - Toronto has a handful of big theatres. Nightclubs here are mostly dull and unimaginative. There is a good music scene but mostly for rock or alternative - little hip hop or reggae or blues so doesn't compare to NYC. People live in the downtown core of Toronto - large amounts of people!

Old thread, I know, but I can add some info, so thought I would post.

Spent some time in Toronto back in 2006-2008. At the time it was $20 per song, or negotiated between you and the girl for specific acts. Like experiences outside of clubs, what you get depends on the girl - some are clock watchers and try and wrap up as quick as possible, while others will take their time. Condoms and lube provided by the club in the booths.

Overall the club is nice. Very laid back, and lots of opportunities to have a drink and chat with the girls. There was never anyone taking advantage - i.e. getting you to buy them lots of drinks. In fact, I found that the girls were a little too laid back in asking to go to the lounge, so you have to be a bit proactive and ask the girls yourself. Have gone to both the tgirl nights and the pansexual parties. Tgirl nights mostly working girls. Pansexual parties are more open and less a working night for the girls.

I have been back once since while passing through Toronto, and it was a completely new set of girls that were there, so not sure any specific advice on girls is worth providing. However, I will say that when I was there Adrina, Nikki and Layla were all very nice, friendly and provided a good time. I am a top, btw. I think Layla is versatile. Nikki is def'n bottom only. Sadly this is Toronto's only hangout that is known for a high traffic of trans girls, well most of them go to the straight clubs if they're not working.

I've been to it a few times, and point blank it's a brothel on tgirl nights. No one dances (except when a girl goes on the center pole for a couple songs), they play so so music, everything is blacked out with curtains. It's not anything flashy, very muted and dungey to be honest. Where the bar is, there's tables across from it where all the girls sit. The men all stand at the bar. barely people even meet half way to say hi, nothing really exciting happens.

It's ok for what it's purpose is, which is to provide a safe place for working local girls and same for the men who want to meet them. But since it's Toronto's only spot, it could be so much more and has failed to leave me feeling like I had a good night each time I've went.

Goodhandys used to be mainly geared towards trans persons, about 5/6 nights a week and has since shrunk it's tgirl nights to 3 or 4 depending if there's a special holiday. Most are gay, naked party or fetish events. They're probably not doing so well which is why they needed to expand their nights to different venues.

Either way, go there if you want to safely meet girls. I'd say there's a 50/50 ratio on CD/TV girls and TS/TG girls on tgirl nights. But I haven't been in awhile for obvious reasons, so I don't know what it's like now.

I finally went on my TS mongering tour, Canada style. On my hit list was the infamous Goodhandys/ Club120 on Thursday night. It is a lot smaller than I thought but comfortable enviroment. The bartender was a cutie. I don’t drink (20 years this year) and just ordered ginger ale & water.
