Well a poor personality can come across into the look also, Lisa. I don't think it's negativity Lisa and it's already been stated on this board why we didn't reshoot her. I wouldn't normally want to do it publically but despite telling Bella why we'd be unable to shoot her at that point, she decided to come up with her infamous and unsubstantiated conspiracy, so naturally, I needed to respond to that.

I've never been as bothered about popular opinion as above getting the facts straight but in this case, she had a jab and got one right back.
Anyway enough raking over old and dull coals.

I don't necessarily find that true, I just think it's bad photography. Anyone will look bad with a bad photographer. Like for instance when they shoot you at high noon outside so you end up looking blotchy and harsh. And some of the indoor lighting that some of them use will do the same.

Frank is a really good photographer, and Bill from Vegas is also. It just depends on the photographer. Buddy is a much better videographer than photog. Which is what most of them are better at. A good photographer will know their lighting and not need to photoshop...

Buddy's videography skill level is inversely proportional to his still photography skill level. He's actually very good at video. However, when girls tell me that they want to shoot photosets for Yum, I tell them to shoot with Frank or request 'Snoop' from Black T-Girls... if I can't talk them out of it of course.

With no insider knowledge, I would concur. The quality of SMC's picture content is Tier 1. Based on the free stuff Shemaleyum puts out there on TGPs and whatnot, they're stuff pales in comparison, imo.

Partially, yes, but I'd say it's not about creating illusion either (which a lot of girls try to do). It's simply about presenting reality in the best light possible (no pun intended). Any photoshopping besides color correction and light blemish removal is dishonest IMHO. SMC strikes just the right balance.

i went to look at sheyum and i immediately clicked off. those girls are looking rough in the preview. now shemale club kinda draws you in. they've got the pretty colors and and hott font. and the pics look real good and professional so i know im not gonna pay to see some booty spots and stretch marks. lets be real its all about the illusion.

Who is "Snoop" ?? We've 3 shooters in LA who can shoot any of the models although generally we do keep one photographer to each area and not have multiple photographers cross-over.

I wonder why there are more than a few T Ladies that are models, and also very talented photographers. That strikes me as unusual. Libby, Jasmine, Joanna, you and several others. Doesn't it take years to be that good? I mean it seems to make sence going from in front of the camera to behind it, but it's not a transition many can make...or choose to make for whatever the reason. Interesting.

Yes. Definitely some of those shots and girls look kind of rough. Some shots are blurry. Some are too fine and expose masculine looking skin tone. Some of the girls have absolutely no breasts or hips, period. Female identity aside, not every TS should be a model. You've said so yourself, but them you shoot them anyway. :?

Not to mention the fact that you're holding these up at the best examples of your brand quality. How about you post a few of the tens of thousands of filler pics on your sites? They're 100 times worse.

FAIL - this is simply updates from the last two weeks. I've not got time to cherry pick - we put up FULL SAMPLES FROM HERE EACH WEEK. Once again, showing yourself up. I'm willing to be each model here will rate better than you - yet although some of may not get reshoots, all are valid and welcomed as models, as were you.

I am guessing you have some way of getting numbers that tell you how well a girl is selling for you correct? Ratios on FHGs? Incoming hits from their gallerys, ect? Do you guys track those things and make decisions on who to work with more based on those at all?

It's a combination of what FHG's are hits, models ratings on sites, feedback we see when we put them out on the forums ... partly statistics and partly feedback. I also make the call on every model we shoot or reshoot personally which is why I do spend so much time in the forums and seeing what people think.

I enjoy their product because it sells well. I don't have breakfast with the owners of the other websites but we do have excellent business relationships and work together more often than most people would think - and of course we promote them for a profit - we only promote good companies.

When I stated I didn't want a reshoot of you then, I don't think you'd done anything "nuts" like after the fact?
Your photosets weren't a hit and nothing you'd done in-between them and asking for the reshoot had appeared to change. Often, we've refused reshoots that early but came back to models further down the line although of course, that's not going to happen now.

It was evident from day one that was never going to happen Steven. Buddy wouldn't even suggest another company with whom to shoot after he told me he'd help me out. You guys break a lot of promises. Working with you was a total let-down and none of you ever had any intention of helping me out, even though Buddy used our budding friendship at the time as a means to get the shoot in the first place.

Other people in this business have attempted to screw me under the guise of friendship since then. I think everyone would be wise to not confuse kindness with weakness.

First of all. I asked Issa to do a site for me before I asked Steven. In which she said yes to. Second, the only reason why I went with grooby is because

Well as far as I know, every website pays a flat fee for the sets and doesn't pay out anything further.
We at least have opportunities for models to make a residual from their sets.

It's a combination of what FHG's are hits, models ratings on sites, feedback we see when we put them out on the forums ... partly statistics and partly feedback. I also make the call on every model we shoot or reshoot personally which is why I do spend so much time in the forums and seeing what people think.

Bella your photography was done by Danielle though - Isa really doesn't edit Jasmine or Danielle's work. Jasmine doesn't like any photo filters done on her photos, and Danielle edits her own photos to how she likes them to appear. And no offense to Danielle but the editing she did on Mia Isabella's Beyonce look and her work on the teachers look should be commended. She photoshopped her body/forehead/jawline. But still great photography. Photoshop like that is sometimes needed just to give the pictures an added flare. They do it all the time for Cosmopolitan/Vogue etc.

Nick, however is the official photog for shemale-club and all of his work does have the filter Steven is referring to. That's why my belly button disappeared, because my skin being a white girl the filter/lighting was too strong for it. It's a plugin that you can use for photoshop it's like 150 dollars..they put them all through it and call it a day. They don't weed out the bad pics or posed, but who has time. They also don't edit out scarring etc. SMY does edit out scarring and most bumps. I mean some girls are just really bumpy are they going to sit there all day editing?

Plus a lot of the models that model are amatuers at modeling too, and not sure how to pose or their lighting. When I started I was lost, but by the end I could do a 150 pics in less than ten minutes with all different posing and cock out blah blah and pretty girl poses.

Sometimes a photographer relationship will feel a certain model is his muse, and will take more time on a certain girl or the girl's relationship with the camera is just better with the photographers camera.

And it's been said for years! THE MOST BEAUTIFUL GIRL IN THE WORLD WHEN PHOTOGRAPHED THE CAMERA JUST WONT CAPTURE IT AND THEY WILL END UP LOOKING HORRID. Some people are just naturally photogenic while others aren't.

Thats why so many models you see on tv and I know I have seen on America's Next Top Model I was like eww she is ugly or plain or how can she be a model, but their photos look amazing and they are the ones that were in the top 5 or some even won.

I know Nick will have beautiful photography with some models and then he will get lazy with others. But he is always on the top of his game usually when he shoots a girl for the first time.

Many of the models on the SMC network will edit their own photos because they don't want funny face/bad poses out there to post. SMC will put the photo over it and call it a day.

So you can argue it all day long...

SMC goes for a Playboy feel and SMY goes for a amatuerish Hustler feel.

Nah no swipe at Danielle either, but she does edit pics she has taken of other girls sometimes with photoshop, but like I said it's for a reason. Photoshop is used by Cosmo/Vogue etc..she uses it in the good sense..while other girls use it in the bad sense.

I think she did little editing to yours maybe changed the hue/lighting/etc and cleaned up the skin. I don't think she liquified anything...I said Danielle was talented. Just all photographers have different ways of doing things.

Jasmine doesn't change the lighting in her photos at all..she will pick the lighting she likes and thats it..She does not like when girls edit their pics. I think it at times gives a certain flare to do a little editing, but Jasmine disagrees. She doesn't like to do editing really at all to the pic..she thinks the image is beautiful with out. I didn't always agree..but she is very talented in photography.

Danielle obviously sees it how I see it..a little editing/tweeking doesn't hurt.
