..Hi all, first post..
A year or more back I was reading a autobiography lent to me (title forgotten..), describing the journey of an australian girl in the fifties and sixties....
One part of the book, recounted, with photos, an American multi millionaire philanthropist, who would arrange and fully fund the transition and all surgeries of many girls as they stayed in his mansion over periods of up to two years during the late fifties and into the sixties...
It was known at the time as "The Girl Factory" and a large number of girls were the recipients of his kindness..
Can anyone throw any further light on this..??
