I actually became much more productive and a lot less depressed when I started smokeing on the regular.
Its been a year and my life, home and income have drastically improved.
Depression sucks, and as we can see from one young lady who took various anti-depressants on here, went apeshit crazy.

I'm a Gladstoner. Gladstone is about 10 miles outside of Portland. I can sit out on my porch with a double chamber bong and cough my ass off while the police roll by and the worst I've ever gotten is a dirty look.

We get our goods from British Columbia, Alaska, and sometimes southern California. We also see a lot of Mexi dirt weed roll in, but it's pretty easy to distinguish and avoid.

I smoke on the daily, both recreationally and as a way to wind down after a long day at work. I switched from drinking beer because I used to be a fat ass, and beer really don't help a diet along. I've dropped 100lbs since I gave up drinking beer as a vice.

Hey Grim...how do you fight the munchies (unless it's not a problem for you...for some people it isn't) ? I always get incredibly hungry so I keep diet soda around to try and quell the pangs...doesn't always work though.

As far as the enhancing properties:To me, I think it enhances sex...but not always. It can "occasionally" hinder the experience depending on the couple.
...but it always enhances anything visual or auditory (music, movies...etc.)...if a person as any artistic abilities, I honestly can't see not trying this.

I always seem to have jobs that can do random drug tests, Air Force, Boeing, and currently too, so on the rare occasions I have been in between these jobs I have been an occasional smoker. Maybe being smoking on such rare occasions kept me from really enjoying getting high, I always seem lethargic and tired and just want to melt into whatever Im sitting in, having sex has never been on my mind when Im high. Camping in the mountains or on a lake has always been an ideal setting for smoking and just relaxing with nice cold cocktails and listening to music with a handful of friends.

Hell Seattle has all the best stuff available if you know someone, and since one of my best friends actually runs a medical marijuana dispensary he would know, of course he could only give me good advice on where to get it since I dont have a green card. A big group of my friends are all regular smokers and sometimes I just have to recluse myself from hanging out in the garage or basement when the smoke gets too thick.

Only thing I don't like about most shops in LA is that the suppliers seem to go for yield only, pumping the bud full of chemical fertilizers. I try to stick to organic dispensaries; maybe I just hit it too much but with other shops my urine started to smell like gunpowder! Believe it or not, I'd sacrifice THC content to know my bud was clean. (this is one of the only reasons I miss living on the farm- sunshine, good soil and time was all it took! Well, that and good cover against the helicopters- they're just not cool about this $hit back east. )

But seriously, go organic- your kidneys will thank you. You see the bud throw off tiny little popping sparks when you blaze, buy somewhere else- that is the fertilizer metals, which concentrate in the flower.

Yeah, I hear ya bro...I've been going to dispensories for 5+ years now & I was scared when I hear about growers putting fucked up shit on their plants, like RAID! no joke! They will do anything to kill those spider mites, but fuck, I don't want to smoke poison either!

I have a few friends who own dispensories in LA, plus I know a couple of the actual growers, so I know they don't use anything but organic....it can be scary out there though if you don't know where your weed is coming from out here...

Usually a strong indica will make you feel stuck to the couch like that, so if you have a choice, next time try a good sativa, perhaps blue dream or green crack & you won't feel so drowsy and lazy. I've noticed certain strains get me hornier than others & for me, I like a good sativa because I feel like I can remain active and awake...

You are in Seattle though, so it might be tougher to get good weed, although I believe WA has medicinal legalized now...

As far as drug tests, you can go to any head shop, buy some synthetic pea for $30, which also includes a heating pack & temp guage to make sure its the right temp when you get tested...I've personally done this & passed...

Meh... I mean, Humboldt is to weed like Napa is to wine now-a-days. While there are some wicked weed like Bushmaster, Nutes, Gravity, Trainwreck, and PurpleMax, it's not like Humboldt is the only area of California that produces those strains. Thirty years ago, it was Humboldt, but now it's anywhere anyone can get away with a successful crop.

Humboldt set an example of prime grow operations. Humboldt had a pot culture before Amsterdam had a pot culture. For that, it should be recognized, but it's far from true to say the only good weed coming out of California is coming out of Humboldt or northern California alone.
