Austin, is a dead town for me. I am working on my PR Company and making it bigger. My first big client is Morgan Bailey. We are up and moving to LA this month to pursue some dreams and career moves for myself and long time bf. We are very excited, and this change will do us some good. I hate to think Chicago ain't shit compared to the roughness of LA as I have been shot at several times and stabbed once here. Now I will admit it is far more difficult to get around in LA and its far more spread out than here.

But Chicago has often been called the most racially segregated city in America so we got that going for us.

I think you will be fine. When I moved out there I had less than 300 bucks in my pocket and a "friend" who got shady as soon as I got out there. I wound up staying for 2 years plus tho. Once you're in with the right people, things will happen. That's the key. Austin is ok, but not when you've exhausted the scene...

If you’re looking to move, I would also consider the other close by cities you can go to when things are slow. If you move to LA, you can go to San Diego, San Fran or Vegas within a short time and all of those cities suck. I have been to every single Eros state a few times over, and the East Coast is where the money is at hands down. In LA the phone rings a lot but they all want to pay 200 bucks.

As a native, I agree that LA drivers suck. We have all types of bad drivers. I'm more of the cruising type. I have a big Chevy Truck and I take my sweet ass time getting places. I drive slow but don't cut people off. I am one of those LA people that keeps a .45 in the center console so don't screw around.
