I'm all for 2nd amendment rights but can we please get some COMMON SENSE in here too!

Gun-control advocates say the shooting shows that Arizona, home of some of the nation's most permissive gun laws, must review its laws to make sure firearms are not falling into the wrong hands. Gun-rights proponents disagree and say more regulation would not have stopped the tragedy

Arizona eased gun restrictions last year when it passed a law allowing residents 21 and older to conceal and carry a weapon without a permit, which allowed Loughner to furtively — and legally — carry his pistol to the mall where he is accused of opening fire.
No permits or licenses are required at the state level. Legal gun owners (http://www.hungangels.com/vboard/#) can bring concealed weapons into Arizona bars and restaurants, and state legislators are considering allowing students and teachers to have weapons in schools.

Lisa, I want to play you on the golf course and then play with your pistol afterwards.

As to the guns, the gun did not do anything wrong, the nut with the gun did wrong.

A Sig-Sauer pistol is not pretty. It's accurate, reliable, and powerful with .45 ACP Hollow Points.

What kind of guns do you have, Lisa?

IMO...this probably belongs on the Political Board, but let's embark on another 45 page thread and accomplish nothing...shall we?

You asked for some common sense? You had some when the Supreme Court struck down the DC gun ban. The situation in DC was such that virtually no one could legally purchase or carry a firearm, yet "amazingly" DC had a higher rate of gun violence than any other American City leaving the poor and working folks unarmed against a well armed thuggary. Go figure. Places like Arizona, and Alaska have a culture much different than eastern cities. I'm not suggesting the Arizona carry law is perfect, but neither is the law in NYC where only the privledged class can purchase a firearm (legally). The point is...one size does not fit all.

That's exactly where I'd hope this thread go...to where Lisa and me get involved in some foul play with our concealed weapons. :fuckin: LOL

LOL at you mentioning Alaska of all places. Anyways IDK much about the the DC laws but NY gun laws are terrible. But I think Arizona's are way to loose. I mean who needs to carry an AR out about? That is a swat team caliber rifle.

As Moses said, "You can have my gun, when you pry it out of my cold, dead hands."
