How Long Is Too For A Photo Update?

Just wondering. How long is too long for someone to not change a photo? Be it a photo the send you by email with the date 0-00-2006 or and ad photo, etc.

Probably depends more on how much you've changed since the photo in question. Some folks age differently than others. And if you've had any major cosmetic surgery, etc., that can quickly make even recent photos seem outdated.

For me, I recently grew a beard for the first time in my life, basically on a challenge from a friend. If I showed you a photo of clean-shaven me and showed up with a weasel pelt on my chin, you might feel that I had left out something important.
