I have decided I want to start reading as many books about ts authos as I can find. I thought some of you may be interested in reading some ts stories-

do you think the new movie Transamerica is worth seeing? I think it's about a post op who is confronted with a son she/he fathered.

the characted is not post op yet-

she is saving for srs then finds out she has a son

looks like an interesting story - i will see it for sure

also Coccinelle wrote an autobiography which is virtually impossible to find but if you can, is a fascinating read.

Check out Rachel Pollack, an SF and comics writer (Doom Patrol) and tarot expert who created the Shining Woman Tarot deck. She has referred to herself as a "trance-sexual" and featured transsexual characters in one of the most outrageously inventive comics ever, The Doom Patrol, taking over the writing when Grant Morrison moved on to other projects. Her novels include Unquenchable Fire (1989 Arthur C. Clarke Award winner), Godmother Night (1997 World Fantasy Award for Best Novel winner), and Temporary Agency (nominee for 1994 Nebula Award for Best Novel), and one of the top books on Tarot, 78 Degrees of Wisdom.

Seriously, Lynn's story is compelling and heartfelt. A must read.
