Yeh the girl is absolutely stunning. Apparently the six guys have hired a top law firm to sue the programme makers.

Personally, I'd be thanking them.

It's funny how some guys get so pissed when they discover they were turned on by a tgirl. Why the fuck are they so insecure about their sexuality? I wish Sky would go ahead with the broadcast, it would be a huge hit. Then we'd have a similar show here cause the US networks copy everything that's successful on British TV.

hi flabbybody.

Well SKY TV is owned by Rupert Murdoch, who I believe also owns FOX TV in the USA ? You never know, it might show up there instead !

The Brits are much cooler when it comes to sex. The London papers always have pics of naked breasts. Can you imagine seeing a girl's tits in the NY Post?

Apart from the of picture on the link above, I can't get anything bigger or more detailed.

When I first saw her I thought she looked like Victoria (ie. THE Victoria), or maybe even Nawja from www.arabictranssexual.com (worth checking out, though I heard recently that she's not escorting at the moment..)

Too bad it won't air.

Anyway, now there are six more guys who have discovered TGirl beauty. They might not be pursuing it on TV, but I guarantee that they will be pursuing it in real life. I also guarantee that, with all this publicity, someone close to that program is going to sneak a copy out of the studios and sell it on the internet! Just ask Pam & Tommy!

It is THE Victoria as suggested above.
One of the issues I have is that this doesn't do any good for promoting TS's and even the guys into them. It's every so-called straight guys joke to be "tricked" by a tranny - this just adds fuel to the fire.

I'm at work in NYC, a big Wall St outfit. Somebody e-mails a pic of this gorgeous young bikini-clad cutie to the guys in my group, and then follows it up with her thong pulled down revealing a very nice 7" boner. Everyone has a laugh, and I'm thinking... you fucking assholes, why can't you admit you were turned on? Turns out, I knew the girl and sucked her cock ($150 escort) just days before. Needless to say, I didn't say anything.

Indeed, it is THE Victoria.

SIX men fooled into taking part in a TV show with a she-male are having tests for sexually transmitted diseases.

The randy bachelors were competing to see who could seduce a “woman” in There’s Something About Miriam.

They did not know SHE was in fact a HE — a pre-op transsexual with full wedding tackle.

Many of the six were filmed snogging Miriam and have now been advised by lawyers to have tests to make sure they have not got herpes.

A pal of one contestant said: “Most of the lads only kissed and fondled Miriam but were so shocked by the revelation she’s actually a man that they want to take extra precautions.

“None of them believe they have contracted a sexually transmitted disease but will take the tests just to be sure.”

The six — including a Royal Marine, a ski instructor, a wannabe actor and a chef — were battling to win £10,000 and a date with Miriam.

They were filmed constantly as they wooed her. But they were horrified at the end of the two-week show when she lifted her dress to reveal the truth.

Now they are suing the makers of the Sky One show and demanding it be axed. Sky has shelved plans to air the show on November 16 over the row.

The Marine has told pals how a rival contestant suspected Miriam was a bloke — but he talked him round.

The 28-year-old Gulf War hero said: “The guy whispered ‘She’s a bloke’.”

But the Marine persuaded the lad he was WRONG, saying: “Don’t be daft. They would never do that to us.”

Now I just knew she looked familiar! I do now recall during earlier posts when she was discussed that Mega mentioned that she lived under the name Miriam.

Lawyers? Court cases? Have these blokes lost their minds??!!

If I'd been one of the 6, at the moment she revealed her 'surprise', I would have been on my knees taking a closer look...

One has to wonder what exactly the producers and for that matter Miriam figured would happen when her T was revealed?

She's lucky she didn't get her ass kicked or worse. Anyone remember the case where the guest on Jerry Springer murdered another guy, simply for saying he had a homosexual crush on him? And She (according to the links) made out with these guys. She's beautiful, but she's also crazy.

:P Being from UK I remember the arcticle in the sun.... I thought two things 1) lucky bastards for getting on the show I mean I recognised Victoria straight away 2) she was lucky not to get seriously beaten - cos in their eyes she's a he

Uk peeps are very narrow-minded especially the "pub" crowd have a few beers & take on the whole world

It was due to be on tv but SKY (our digital tele providers) have pulled it for now....

an update:

Contestants who claim they were tricked into seducing a transsexual as part of a reality TV show are on the verge of winning compensation.

Sky One has apparently agreed to pay the five men £500,000 after they said the producers of Something About Miriam used them inappropriately.

The show set the contestants up against each other to win the affections of Miriam, but failed to tell them of her past.

When the truth was revealed, the men complained that the programme makers should have told them that Miriam was formerly a man.

However, now the channel has reportedly offered the deal, the show may be aired this year. It was originally planned for a November transmission, but was postponed because of the complaints.

As well as raising complaints from the contestants, the show also concerned many transsexual rights groups, who said it demeaned Miriam and transsexuals across the country.

They argued that the show painted transsexuals as deceivers and was damaging to how the general public's perceived them.

This programme is going to be shown on UK TV after all.

Sky TV (makers of the programme) have agreed to pay compensation of £125,000 (ie approx US$205,000) to each of the men on the understanding that they consent to the broadcast and drop their cases.

Hi,

My respect goes out to Victoria for not only agreeing to take part, but also for having succesfully convinced a bunch of "every day" guys that she was anything but 100% female.

My sadness and frustration are also released because of the inability of "every day" men to accept the feminity of transsexuals and who must therefore resort to lawsuits in order to confirm their heterosexuality, along with the cowardice of productions companies and media channels to defend our rightful place in the feminine gender.

Another "soap-box" moment from your's truly ;-)

Hi again,

I should also mention something about British media.

Whilst, without doubt, the British media (newspaper, cable or broadcast) is willing to be far more risque than it's American counterparts, it only does so when it is able to present such material in a way that reinforces the views and values of the moral majority.

The only UK media channel that is willing to challenge the majority view is the broadcast Channel 4, which understands that it maintains it's audience by maintaining this unique "shock" attribute. All other UK commercial channels such as ITV, channel 5 and especially SKY, prefer to accomodate the comfort zone of the majority in order to retain their viewing figures.

It is for this reason that I consider "Graham Norton" (on channel 4) as the only show where I feel I would be able to appear without the need for it's producers to make me a subject a ridicule.
Graham, Call me!!!!

Yours, "unable to give up the soap-box" faithfully,

Hi,

I do not have satellite or cable (bizarre I know but I have little interest in everyday TV) and so did not see the first episode of "There's something about Miriam" on Sky One (and left it too late to arrange a recording).

Could anyone offer a resume and their perception of how Miriam/Victoria was presented please?

Thanks in advance,

Joanna

Well........

I thought the show was dreadful. Miriam ( Victoria ) is obviously a stunning lady, but its fairly obvious to me that some fairly clever editing was needed to save this show, which follows no real chronological order of interraction between the contestants or Miriam. Its clear that some of the guys suspect that something isnt quite right, and there was even footage shown of one guy saying ' I think she's a man' .

This doesn't give any credit to the transgendered community at all. Miriam is a co-conspirator in a deception that might lead people to think that all ladies like her are just 'men in drag looking to deceive men'. Miriam herself seems nice enough, and by GOD she's my type !

Deception to my mind is just as bad as phobic attitudes to the transgendered community, nobody wins here......especially not Miriam

Notwithstanding the debatable integrity of the show it was also quite boring and the production was really rather poor.

Joanna n all,

The show really took ages to get going, which wasn’t helped by the host constantly referring to Miriam 'secret'. She is hot that’s for sure but in my mind you need a really good personality. Miriam [Victoria] was weird though almost nervous, but you can see a sort of Jordan power, about to break through, I’m sure as it goes on, it will improve.

The lads were strange, one 24 year old student looked about 40? Some of the others are already suspicious and who wouldn’t be when she ties her hair back she looks like a ladyboy.

Her voice has improved a lot [last heard her speak in 2000] and she seems to relish the role, but we all know that she’s doing it for the money/fame and the very best of luck to her.

Am I comparing Miriam to Kelly Brooks that’s what I’m asking myself?

Jimmic

P.S. anybody know if she can sing?

"Gender Recognition Law" in England?

Just saw a bit on the news about a "woman who used to be a man" applying for St. Andrews.
